Maybe in 5 or 6 years Nottingham is, but the odds are stacked against him and almost every minor league catcher of being anything but an extremely mediocre major league player. As I stated, Flowers was a better prospect than this guy. i can see your point. but i see this yr selling by the sox as not to win in every trade, but to fix the hole that is sinking this ship who has many holes. fix it, and then concentrate on continue to improve with minor altercation thru the draft. this is a system that has long been overlooked.
