Nice job Alexei

Wooo Alexei.

That was an awful pitch.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 02:12 PM)
Chris Sale is the best pitcher in the league.

No biased, just stating fact.

But but I thought Arrieta was the best pitcher in Chicago!?!?

Alexei!

Sox 2-0 I call that pickled Haren.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 02:12 PM)
58 pitches so he's got a chance at going ~8 at this rate.

If he keeps at this rate he's going 9, especially if a no hitter and/or 20 K's are a possibility.

Yea no kidding. I can't even imagine if sale pitched for the Cubs my lord

Hard to believe that's just Saladino's 2nd career double

Batting 9th will do him so good.

It really is crazy that with all of his dominant outings, Sale has never thrown one. Baseball analysts always predict him to be the next one to throw one, and then a Chris Heston or Matt Cain comes along and does so.

What about Pedro Strop?

Yep he is not a #2 hitter at all.

He'd be a Cubs legend along with the great Mark Pryor and Kerry Wood.

Good thing Eaton saw that one...

Cubs announcers just suggested Chris Sale ate 2 ice cream sandwiches and 30 bags of potato chips on a flight from Chicago to California.

I call bulls***.

Maybe they meant to say 3 or 13 and not 30 :lol:
