I got a feeling jake will be exposed today. I could be way off.

I get the same feeling.

Mystery first pitch thrower is making the news. Who cares?

Should we bet the house jake gets rocked? hahaha

Judging by social media, why even play the game? Cubs Nation assuming it's 2-1 them already. Losing this game would take the air out of them.

Cmon Wacha.

Hope Bartman didn't cave. I respect the guy with the way he's handled his situation.

If it Bartman, I don't blame him. I'd take that for all its worth he deserves it.

I would blame the cubs though. First home playoff game in years and it'd prove what we all already know: that they're a sideshow of a sports franchise. It'd be pathetic and the most Cubs move ever.

You only bet the house if Greg says so

Cmon Wacha.

Them losing today would definitely put it up there with all their other heartbreaking losses. Make it happen Cardinals.

Cardinals need to be patient and not swing at crap.

No way, the increase in security would tip everybody off ahead of time

They needed to go across town and ask the Royals, who hit 3 HR off Arrieta earlier this year. Also, remember Prior and Wood were supposed to be automatic at home in 2003 as well.

All cubs fans at work are saying tonight is automatic and that they are going to the next around. Must be true. :P

Even if the Cubs win tonight the Cardinals could pound Hammel and then beat Lester again, it's far from being automatic. Hammel has been awful since June and Lackey has dominated the Cubs in all 4 starts against them this year.

Every game Arrieta pitches feels like an automatic win. The Cards needed to win Saturday. Still gotta play the game obviously. Doesn't bode well that Wacha was awful in September and the Cubs lineup's career average is over .330 against him. I think winner of this game will take the series (though Cubs loss would be zatisfying).

So the series is best of 3 now? Even with a loss tonight I think if the Cards win Game 4 they'll win the series.

I understand. Just my opinion is all just as you have yours. Would just feel better with Cards at 2-0 right now.

I don't think they'd have an open Sox fan do it. Not until World Series anyway.

And I'd be happy for her if they won it, it's just too bad all the jackasses ruin it.

This is my problem with the Cubs, too. The frat boys are obnoxious, but I admire what that organization has done for an otherwise undeserving fanbase of bros who wait in line for the stalls at the Wrigley bathrooms.

I would hug her if the cubs won it all. The bandwagon freaks piss me off and force me to root against them.
