January 25, 201610 yr Dan @lot_49 @BenBadler Is Tim Anderson a top 25 guy, in your opinion? Ben Badler @BenBadler 35m35 minutes ago He'll be Top 100, but too many risk factors to put him in that group.
January 25, 201610 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 12:31 PM) Dan @lot_49 @BenBadler Is Tim Anderson a top 25 guy, in your opinion? Ben Badler @BenBadler 35m35 minutes ago He'll be Top 100, but too many risk factors to put him in that group. Yeah he's not 25. Should be top 50 for sure though
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 12:59 PM) Yeah he's not 25. Should be top 50 for sure though Yeah, I kind of figured he would be between #40-#60 on most publications. Hoping Fulmer is top 30.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 02:31 AM) Yeah, I kind of figured he would be between #40-#60 on most publications. Hoping Fulmer is top 30. Fulmer didn't make top 101 for BP
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 07:37 PM) Fulmer didn't make top 101 for BP That's laughable.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 07:54 PM) That's laughable. Many see his ceiling as a reliever, so he won't be ranked very high.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 08:03 PM) Many see his ceiling as a reliever, so he won't be ranked very high. Was Montas ranked high on BP? I think a lot more view him more as a reliever than Fulmer. What about Tyler Jay? He barely even started in college. Fulmer has proven a lot more in college than a lot of these top 100 prospects.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 07:37 PM) Fulmer didn't make top 101 for BP For some reason I was thinking Fulmer was #1 on everyone's White Sox list.

He barely even started in college. Fulmer has proven a lot more in college than a lot of these top 100 prospects. I'm not disagreeing just giving you a reason why he isn't higher in the rankings. His high effort delivery doesn't bode well for being a starter in the MLB.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 08:03 PM) Many see his ceiling as a reliever, so he won't be ranked very high. I haven't seen anyone say that. What I've seen is that people think he'll be a reliever due to his high effort, almost violent delivery. Stuff-wise, most seem to agree that a very good late inning reliever is his probable floor. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 01:51 AM) For some reason I was thinking Fulmer was #1 on everyone's White Sox list. Mostly it is Anderson, though in a close race with Fulmer. Our vote was super-close, I know BA wrestled with the decision too.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 07:51 AM) For some reason I was thinking Fulmer was #1 on everyone's White Sox list. BP is severely overrating Anderson and underrating Fulmer, IMO
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 08:01 AM) BP is severely overrating Anderson and underrating Fulmer, IMO BP has consistently been much higher on Anderson than other publications. Started with Jason Parks, who is now a scouting supervisor with the Cubs.
January 26, 201610 yr Author Fulmer not being in the top 101 is a joke unless you are convinced his delivery will lead to debilitating injuries. As NorthSide said, his floor is a great closer.
January 26, 201610 yr QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 08:00 AM) I haven't seen anyone say that. What I've seen is that people think he'll be a reliever due to his high effort, almost violent delivery. Stuff-wise, most seem to agree that a very good late inning reliever is his probable floor. That's a better way to put it. Many believe he will be a reliever so he won't be high on the list. It will all depend on how deep into games he can go while maintaining his stuff.
