Anyone who wants to question "Why didn't she report" needs to look in an F'ing mirror.  People like that are EXACTLY why people wait decades to report stuff.  It is why stuff like the Catholic Church

  • While I understand this is a rather serious topic, I found this too funny not to post: https://twitter.com/heyitschili/status/1045718359713681408

Let me say this clearly. The act of putting yourself into dumb, or even dangerous, situations does NOT invalidate anything that might happen to the person after putting themselves into that situa

Wow. Plainly, flatly refusing to answer Durbin's question if he would personally support an FBI investigation. Just silence, then stammering.

Lol, at Lindsey Graham.

lmao this guy is gonna be a Supreme Court judge making major ruling impacting hundreds of millions of Americans for decades to come

And here’s Lindsay grandstanding.

oh no, not hold a seat open until another election, the nerve

I can’t believe these fucks have the audacity to say this. Lindsay just dropped a “Bill Cosby” line.

Fuck Lindsey Graham and his sanctimonious bullshit.

Merrick Garland, GMAFB

The juxtaposition between the doofus and the women behind him...hilarious

The tone of the GOP and Kavanaugh, again and again, is that this was "sprung" on them, that the charges against Kavanaugh are deeply serious, and that this is much more than a "job interview."

But they also refuse to do anything more than a couple hours of hearings. Instead, Kavanaugh seemingly swore vengeance on the left for this. Incredible.

All reasons that any vote confirming him to the Supreme Court should be delayed until the investigation can occur.

Kavanaugh's open contempt for the Democrats makes it clear, at least, that the SCOTUS is a partisan institution and should be viewed and treated as such.

I wonder how she passed a polygraph.

This seems right to me. That silence after Durbin pressed him was stark.

They also have notably dumped that woman they brought in to question Blasey Ford and are instead using their time to melt down at the idea that he would ever even be questioned.

Kavanaugh is also still not answer any of the Democrats' questions at all.

Absolutely.  Kavanaugh’s been a horrendous witness.  Did anyone prep him for cross questions?

He spent days at the White House with McGahn.

I wonder if Kavanaugh would have had the same opinion if they found a smoking gun against Clinton but brought it late in the game. Im sure he would have thought that ambush was unfair and that the FBI shouldnt look into it.

"Proof of innocence?? With this type of testimony, with these kind of witnesses, localized entirely within your calendar?"

"Yes!"

"...may the FBI investigate it?"

"...no."

They should take the mic away from Hatch because hes actually hurting the case.

Him and Graham are pathetic shills.  Isn’t Hatch retiring?

Yes.

The difference in composure and willingness to answer questions between Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh is telling.

And the "well they sent a letter, what more can you do?" from a bunch of lawyers is such obvious nonsense and they all know it.

So Blumenthal basically caught Kavanaugh. It seems that Judge didnt even sign the letter, his lawyer did. That is not an affidavit nor a sworn statement.

Thats pretty damning, but I doubt many Republicans stand up and against this. Because after this there is no doubt in my mind that even Republican's believe Kavanaugh lied at some point.

Kavanaugh does not seem like a guy who is telling the truth but people respond to adversity in the different ways.

Constant apologies to Kavanaugh from the GOP.

None of them could offer then directly to Blasey Ford
