Wow, talk about the worst possible outcome. Great at-bat by Jackson ends in horrible result.

Nothing he could do on that one.

Um, not start going on a line drive? Knowing where the fielders are?

wow, bad luck.

Random question: Does that count as a GIDP in Jackson's cumulative stats?

He's a real MLB player.

Aside from Garcia the Sox lineup is all MLB players. Maybe not all good MLB players, but at least there's less of the usual garbage.

nah his secondary is 10-12 feet off the bag at least he's f***ed.

Rodon with 53 pitches thru 4, Gray with 70 thru 4.1. Love it.

You straight up jinxed us dude.

He was hung out to dry.

Gray has about 29 or so pitches left.

What's with the half bald guy in the stands?

You, sir, seem to lack basic baseball knowledge.

That fastball looked painful.

Sanchez makes that play.

Oh man. What a horrid start to season for Padres.

One would hope, given this is the MLB.

Preller has redefined what it means to tank. Even in the NL where all the terrible teams should keep them all above 65-70 wins I think there's a chance San Diego truly sets itself apart in a class of its own.

Look at the Reds, Braves, and Phillies lineups though.

Yeah you are right. He took about 4 steps after the ball was hit. He could have at least made it a bit closer by freezing on a line drive like you are taught as an 8 year old.

I haven't seen anyone with a Charlotte hat on yet :)

He went from 70 pitches in 4.1 innings to 71 in 5. And what is your point exactly? That he's on pace to go 7+ innings?
