I said the same but then realized Hawks are on tonight.

And at home.

If the gun isn't hot, it will be very interesting to see if Latos can maintain this velocity.

Better start than last night.

The final pitch to the first batter showed up on the Sox broadcast at 95mph. I wasn't the only one who saw it.

Game tracker had Mat Latos' fourth pitch at 95 mph. He's worked mostly at 88-90 in his first two starts.

Must have missed that.

Usually his 1st inning he hits 91-92 and then he slows the speed down a bit as the game goes on.

I'd complain but you'd have to pay me to sit in this

Lonnnnng sigh.

Great. A 30 pitch first

Latos pitched afraid to both Trout and Pujols.

Another short outing. Bleh.

Rodon did the same last night

Escaped nicely

Latos pitched afraid to both Trout and Pujols.

I have no problems with that.

Make the others beat ya. I'm completely fine with that. I wouldn't give trout much to hit. I'd becareful with Pujols as well even though he's declining.

Agreed. The lineup isn't good. Let the others try to beat you.
