With late inning scoring being the '16 specialty, one could say they have us right where we want them!

Reminder that David Ortiz is a cheater.

Indeed.

I like this part of the lineup to start

And, to top the "adding insult to injury" list, we're going to honor Big Papi before tomorrow's game.

Hope Erik Johnson gets a good night's sleep.

Three runs are coming. I feel it.

Here comes the healthy serving of curveballs Melky. Don't swing edit D'oh

Give me a LH bat and a LOOGY and this teams going places. Crossing my fingers Anderson catches fire and creates some competition late. Don't want to rush him at all however.

Yeahhhh now the outside strike is there

I don't think this is our game

The mods/admins have been receiving a lot of complaints about the reactionary, doom and gloom posters who typically inhabit this game thread. You guys who know who you are. We understand its emotional and you're posting your immediate reactions, but you guys are driving a lot of good posters out. Please save the "this player sucks" or "f***" or "there goes the lead" or "a little girl could shutout our offense" as much as you can. Let's try to get intelligent conversation in here again.

Amazing how things change when the team is winning.

attaboy sandy

Good job, White Sox bullpen!!!!!

Limited the damage to only one run when things could have been a lot worse. Robin Ventura's the early favorite for AL Manager of the Year, Adam Eaton's the best defender in baseball and Carlos Rodon just might be learning how to pitch...

Is that better?

Say what you want, buchholz earned it tonight. After the third he's been painting

Sands from the Flowers school or not knowing what is a strike

And another strikeout for Jerry Sands. That is an amazing 18 in 36 ABs

Too negative. It still very might well be our game, in light of results in the past 27 contests.

Okay there it is. Davidson would be jealous.

You never wana drive good posters away. Don't be silly.

I think the Sands thing has kind of run its course. He had a few big hits I guess.

I can't wait to enthusiastically not attend that Styx show.

He's a young stud learning how to pitch. I knew it'd take time. He'll be much better as the season goes on. Did it last season.
