I would pull him. He is complete garbage tonight.

I'd have the pen ready.

Good job Melky!

Real nice catch by Melky

sliding head first is usually pretty stupid.

Get Latos out of there. This is the real Mat Latos. Unfortunately. Robin determined to get Latos thru the fifth, even if it costs Sox the victory.

Sox are gonna need more runs.

Just get one more out. This is batting practice

Well. Keep them at 4 now. This'll be his last inning.

He can find the zone better than he has tonight. This is Latos with no command.

Everything is up

Sox 5-4 pull Latos

I think I am Latos-intolerant

Eh I'll take it. His command sucked and got us through 5. Now we need to add some runs for the bullpen.

I'll take 5 innings from Latos tonight. Pen really needs to hold up their end of the bargain tonight, though. I have a feeling 5 runs won't be enough to win.

he has no idea where it's going.

Could have been way worse. That's it for him I'm sure. Really not sure what we have with him. His first four starts were great.

Teams 4th starters going at it and people are surprised runs are scored? Get a grip! Latos wasn't going to be sub 1 era all year.

Essentially, the same performance we got out of Erik Johnson last night.

Bullpen night...Latos now at 95 pitches and walking a tightrope. Simply cannot afford to let this game get away and breathe some life into the Twins

(Chris Sale's going to have to face his MN demons as well...)

Time to get some runs.

Exactly. Rodon is going to have to be the one to step up more. If Latos can put up 32 starts and keep an Era under 4, I'll take it.

Eaton's standup triple a nice way to start it off.

Saw quite a few pitches at 91-93 and even a few at 94.

Seems he was actually more effective at lower FB speeds his first four outings.

Thank god for Adam Eaton...almost had a classic match-up with Sano's arm and Eaton's legs but throw was way off line.

Sano at 262 pounds is like Dave Parker out there.
