With Sale and Q next in line there is no reason the Sox shouldn't sweep these guys.

Feels good to see this thread again. Those 2 loses felt a lot longer than just 2 days.

I'd be very happy if we can just go .500 combined with our 4th and 5th starters. So far so good.

We really buttered 'em up in the first.

 

Good, solid win. Latos was off with his control but a win is a win. The defense was amazing and the offense did much better with runners on. Basically, did what we're supposed to do to some cellar-dwelling chumps like Minneapolis.

 

BTW, I really wanted to see Lawrie homer off May in the 8th after the bushleague HBP....I think we would've seen the greatest bat flip of all time.

Same here. It was obvious he wasn't trying to do anything but hit a bomb.

I'd rather see them put up 20 runs against these bush league bums tomorrow. Just embarrass them into oblivion.

Latos is coming back to Earth but the offense picked him up tonight. Good to see. Nice defense this evening as well.

Great to come back and beat a bad team at home after two losses. Nice to see Robin get upset. The veins in his neck were really showing.

Melky with four hits. Glad to see him turning into a new Melky, a base hit machine.

And perfect timing, The Melkman t-shirt promotion is coming in just a couple of weeks...

That was a fun game besides Latos coming back down to Earth.
