We really thought Eaton sucked at the beginning of last year too. We retired Konerko plenty of times (not saying Jose is Paul). It's been 1.5 mediocre months.

 

This is the biggest funk I've seen him in. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

Who knows, maybe Ranaudo will be the answer...but you can understand why Ventura is hesitant to go to the bullpen until at least one baserunner reaches.

After that inning, I say yes. I think he is just over 80 pitches, plus they have another game to play tonight. He's obviously got more in him, they should use every bit of what Latos has got.

With this being a double header I think I would. Leash would be very short. Like lead off walk short.

6 runs on 8 hits so far w/ no outs in the 6th. Hopefully this stays.

Really nice to see Mat pitch with some real ease that inning.

 

Whether it's the creeping shadows or Latos, we'll take both. Never hurts to be lucky with the timing of the sun. Of course, have seen that go against the White Sox enough times on a late Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Jackson 3 for 3. Trying to get off the bottom page of the qualified WAR and OPS numbers. Still not sure it's a great play with Rollins not being one of your better hitters behind Eaton, but it's equally important that the team's really playing unselfish/fundamentally-sound baseball as much as anything.
