We really thought Eaton sucked at the beginning of last year too. We retired Konerko plenty of times (not saying Jose is Paul). It's been 1.5 mediocre months.

This is the biggest funk I've seen him in. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

Great quick inning Mat. He earned this victory. Few bad pitches like always

Who knows, maybe Ranaudo will be the answer...but you can understand why Ventura is hesitant to go to the bullpen until at least one baserunner reaches.

Zach Duke warming up.

Nice 1,2,3 for Latos. Do you march him back out for the 7th?

After that inning, I say yes. I think he is just over 80 pitches, plus they have another game to play tonight. He's obviously got more in him, they should use every bit of what Latos has got.

With this being a double header I think I would. Leash would be very short. Like lead off walk short.

Good performance from latos and another QS for a Sox pitcher. It's up to the bullpen now.

WTF is wrong with mlb.tv

Lead off guy on. Nice Navarro

Let's add some more runs and blow them out

6 runs on 8 hits so far w/ no outs in the 6th. Hopefully this stays.

Really nice to see Mat pitch with some real ease that inning.

Whether it's the creeping shadows or Latos, we'll take both. Never hurts to be lucky with the timing of the sun. Of course, have seen that go against the White Sox enough times on a late Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Played with his wallet in his back pocket....LOL

Ever since that blown call on Latos last inning, West has been calling everything in the Sox favor. On an even better note, Jackson is 3-3.

Seems like a hit parade today considering last week. Let's add onto this lead

Any Comcast people have any luck with CSN yet?

Have yourself a day, Jackson

Get some more runs

Eaton continues to be the only bunter I trust

Beautiful bunt by Eaton. Almost had a hit there. Runners on 2nd & 3rd w/ 1 out.

Waiting for the SNL jokes...and there it goes from Farmer & DJ.

Let me guess, Benetti also mentioned it with Cheri Otero?

Jackson 3 for 3. Trying to get off the bottom page of the qualified WAR and OPS numbers. Still not sure it's a great play with Rollins not being one of your better hitters behind Eaton, but it's equally important that the team's really playing unselfish/fundamentally-sound baseball as much as anything.

I'm fine with sac bunting with 2 on/no outs, but not really with Rollins on deck... hope he proves me wrong

Eaton is probably the player on this team I have the most confidence in. I'm not sure I would have bunted with Rollins up next, but we shall see.

Rollins... Why?

yup, now that bunt is stupid

Of course

Failed effort by Rollins
