6/3 Game Thread - White Sox @ Tigers

Isn't Sands also the emergency catcher, or is that Saladino?

(Because that situation comes into play QUITE frequently, you know.)

Sands=LF/RF/1B/DH

VERSATILE. Well, compared to Jimmy Rollins' two positions, unless he can now play 2B.

He said play them well, I trust Avi way more than Sands to play all of those positions

Another count worked to 3-2 that ends in a bad K.

I actually like Sands too, just not a good fit with Avi on the roster.

5 OFs is too many.

Notice how many 3-2 offspeed pitches teams throw to the Sox? Seems to be the book against them for a long time now. Twins always used to do that.

If it came to it, I'd like to see Albers back there.

Eaton :(

This lineup shockingly stinks tonight. Hard to score with so many easy outs combined with your best players struggling.

Eaton is slumping big time right now.

Eaton :(

Some bad body language of late also

Already have a depleted lineup & if you're not getting hits out of the guys like Eaton, Frazier & Abreu (consistently), it's going to result in many low scoring products.

Eaton 5 for last 41 (including one game with 3 hits)

Good news is that the Sox like to score late & Detroit likes to give up a lot of runs late.

If it wants to rain the next two days, that's fine with me.

Bottom line, Sale and Q are going to have to put up s*** loads of zeros over the next couple days to win two out of three.

Thunderstorms on Sunday

Rodon cruising right now, finally. Need to get some runs or it'll be another tough luck loss.

Rodon on his way to a amother good game. Hopefully the offense will show up to Detroit eventually.

Rodon gave up two bombs, that's hardly tough luck.
