Last year, they were considered out of it by most Sox fans, although we did have that brief two week scare with contention there at the end of July. Avila still has just 2 RBI's. McCann and his .159 BA has that already in this game alone....not to mention all of Saltalamacchia's contributions this season (granted, he's cooled off considerably.)
