Just set up Panarin for his left wing one timer, it's bound to go in.

That overtime was everything that's right and wrong about 3 on 3. It was exciting but mostly.cause guys were so tired and nowhere to be found.

So why do they play " I Am the Walrus" when Panarin scores ? I know the lyrics pretty well and there's nothing about a Breadman (Eggman yes) .

Btw good call if you wrote it before it actually happened .

I'm in Nashville for the game tomorrow. Assuming Glass makes his debut.

I'd be shocked, especially since the Hawks have 4 days off after tonight's game.

It's all Eddie O claiming he thought it was "I am the Bread man " not the Eggman. For some reason they went crazy with it tonight on the broadcast.

I totally called that goal . 5 minutes after the game was over. :P

Darling is going to miss some time, looks like 3 weeks with a hand injury

Bummer. I was hoping the Glass call up was a sneaky expansion draft move not an actual injury, Darling had been.playing well.

Another big "scandal" in Blackhawks world today.

Either the CI was denied employment by the Hawks long ago or they long to be taken seriously as writers, but they are out to get the Hawks while still cheering them on blindly.

CI?

Whatever the hell they are called now, Dale's Fax Machine or whatever

When Panarin was 20 he said he wouldnt have sex with a black girl. Thats their scandal

I am completely lost here. What is going on? Some blogger has some sort of blackmail material?

Holy hell, that article. Who is this pud? Do people actually respect him in the Blackhawks community? This is the first I'm hearing about him.

In terms of the video, there isn't a ton to even say. It was an offensive remark made by a 20 year old kid doing a nothing YouTube video, in a completely different cultural environment. For that idiot writer to compare him to the transgressions of Bobby Hull's past is insane.

I'd be shocked if this makes the "mainstream" news.

I thought they had some kind of a following cause of the Committed Indian newsletter they sold outside the arena, but I may have completely overestimated that.

I do find some of their hockey analysis insightful, but recently it's been so much holier than thou bulls*** like this article, which you perfectly summarize.

That whole write up struck me as revenge porn, without the porn.

Yet the writers are still proud season ticket holders!

Teravainen once said all woman in Chicago are horny. Just a different culture out there. It's a non issue.

I mean, is it really offensive to not want to sleep with a girl of a certain race?

QUOTE (Tony @ Mar 6, 2017 -> 03:55 PM)
I don't think so, but certain people could.

Should he have said it? No......but he was a 20 year old kid...in Russia. THE SCANDAL!!!!

Russia is a whole different world. They still have fairly active mobs that specialize in the attacks and intimidation of gays. They are also much more anti-cultural than we are, especially for those who still yearn for the strength of the Soviet Union.

To me the only surprise is that we don't hear more about this from the Russian kids.

Nice job Arty on fixing his grill, he looked a little like Lloyd Christmas before.

Saying you're not sexually attracted to a certain type of person, even if it's based on race, is definitely not racism. There are multiple ethnicity and races of women that I am not sexually attracted to. It doesn't mean I treat them any different as people, it just means I'm not trying to f*** 'em.

How is this a thing?

Anyway, Nashville was a good time this weekend. But the chants they have at the stadium are so s***ty and petty.

Well to start, they obviously have their "Keep the Red Out" campaign. Then the PA announcer before the game read a line about "No one comes in to OUR house and pushes US around!", then when Hawks fans walked down to their seats before the national anthem, a Preds fan at the top of the stairs told each Hawks fan to "Be respectful during the national anthem", implying Hawks fans aren't.

Their "Hey!!! You suck!!" chant and pointing at Hawks fans after Nashville goals is obnoxious. Then they did a CRAAAWWWFOOOORRRRDDD chant after every goal, followed by "You suck!" and "It's all your fault!". They boo Kane tremendously every time he touches and puck, and they played a video on the jumbo screen with their mascot beating up a dummy in a Hawks jersey while the fans went wild and cheered.

We had an elderly man 2 seats down from us wag his finger in our faces after the Preds tied the game 3-3.

A guy behind us asked out loud how "All these people have no problem rooting for a domestic abuser" after Kane scored. Same guy later yelled out that Crawford is an overrated piece of trash p****.

Same guy also ran out of the building after the open net goal by Kane.

So yeah, outcome was good, but the fans were real annoying. Later all the bars were packed with Hawks fans and I don't know if I saw more than 4 or 5 Predators jerseys out after the game. I don't know if Hawks fans drank all the bars out of their kegs like we did 3 years ago, but the DJ at the TinRoof made a reference to it.

And as I noticed last time, Nashville is such a surprisingly clean and safe-seeming city, at least downtown.

Thanks for sharing your experience in Nashville. I may not agree with their antics there.. and I'm not a big fan of goalie taunting or their "Hey! You suck!" chant, but at the same time it's whatever keeps their fans into the game. It's fun to hate on the big boys and right now, we are the big boys. De-troit sucks! But they still kicked the Hawks ass every year... but to us, they still suck! That's a perfect example of the reverse role situation.

Broadway is as touristy as it gets, I think local Nashvillians avoid it as much as possible

Panarin issued an apology statement, Julie DiCaro's favorite Hawks blog pats themselves on the back, and we can all move on with our lives now.

She's probably still trying to dig up evidence on Kane.
