Nick Schmultz is absolutely the real deal. He's going to be a very good one.

You're right. Schmaltz is fast , a good passer and seems to have learned from Hossa and Toews the art of lifting the stick and stealing pucks.

It's been fantastic to Schmaltz and Hartman, both first round picks, really show up and contribute.

 

Maybe Stan will finally start getting some credit.

The best part of the first line hot streak is that it's not just hark work and crashing the net. These guys are just showing flat out skill and talent.

Kid is fun to watch. He and Hartman have really been outstanding. Panik is as hot as Kane right now. Hopefully he isn't pricing himself out with his play.

 

Hopefully Stan gets Shalunov in the mix soon as well. Wanna keep that 1st line intact with Schmaltz-Toews-Panik and Hossa to finally have a center with some skill to play with on that 3rd line.

Big fan of Schmaltz. He's an elite passer, gonna put up incredible assist numbers. Not sure he'll ever get much above 15-20 goals though.

He really has a nice feel for the game, it just seemed like he lacked confidence in the first half of the season. After the trip to Rockford, he is a whole new player.

That overtime was everything that's right and wrong about 3 on 3. It was exciting but mostly.cause guys were so tired and nowhere to be found.
