There are a lot of our top picks, plus a ton of guys from Latin America signings of recent years. Otano, Castillo, Reyes, Mota, Carlos Perez, and Alfaro, plus a lot of pitchers headline this group.

Interesting that Blake Hickman is listed as a C.

Wow, yeah. I have to imagine Paddy smiled when he saw that Roster.

The INTL program has come a long way.

That is weird. I kind of wonder if they just guessed after seeing Hickman, and put both?

I really hope that's true. It's difficult to give them the benefit of the doubt until some of these guys are on full season teams and doing well.

Well, he played it in HS.

Even getting that many kids out of the DSL and into rookie ball is something considering where we were 5 years ago.

I don't expect Burdi, Hansen, or Anderson to be in AZL for long. Also, it's amazing at how quickly they've built up some catching depth. Collins will be here shortly, Zavala has some promise, and Perez, Alfaro, and Hickman are all in the system as well. This team along with Great Falls should be fun follows.

They've been really active internationally, despite not going over and they spent every dollar allotted to them ever since the new rules have came into effect with the current CBA in 2012. The fact that the Padres wanted Tatis Jr, is a good sign.

While not a starter, it feels like based on how he's been in big league camp they like Austin's defense enough that he'll be a AAA catcher that will see some time.

While they haven't hit the headlines, they have been spending bringing in lots of lower cost players, especially pitchers who are much harder to project at 14/15/16 years old than the hitters are. That is why we are also seeing pitchers that we never heard about getting into our system over the last couple of years.

I forgot about him. Also have Casey Schroeder at WS and the recent draftee from St. Mary's as well.

Yeah, they really do a very good job at spreading their money around.

The Sox have also gotten in with some of the big time trainers recently, like Banana who trained Harvin Mendoza, I believe.

Potential wise, this roster is stacked.

Lot of high ceiling talent that needs to play everyday. Some good talent will be sitting on the bench. Hopefully some shuffling will happen quick. Interesting how the catcher and infield positions turn out.

Some of these guys should be playing for Great Falls. Are there Latin American players on that roster? Seems like they're all on AZL except for Solorzano.
