  1. AAA vs A? Wouldnt be a bad game to attend, you'd get to see Reed, Borchard, Anderson and Sweeney in the same game most likely
  2. ya i think we should give Willie a chance before we rule him out. He succeeded in the minors, i think we should at least give him a legitimate shot. Ya never know
  3. ah, the Apprentice, very good show. Good idea and can actually make a case for being a 'valid' reality show. ESPN's Dream Job is good too
  4. i agree. In my opinion, a baby is a baby born or unborn. The 'fetus' is a baby. There should be no distinction. I too would never judge someone who had an abortion, but i strongly am against abortion because in my opinion you're killing a baby. Another thing i dont get is how can abortion be legal AND people (Scott Peterson) can be charged with murder for killing an UNBORN child. Kinda doesnt make sense. It should be one way or the other in BOTH cases.
  5. i agree ss. by no means i think Bush is a saint, but in my opinion i dont think he has done a bad job, especially given the unique circumstances he has had to face. And, in my opinion Kerry wouldn't do a better job and i will be voting for Bush. Both sides skew the facts, both sides only tell parts of stories, both sides lead you to believe things that arent true or arent totally true. But, the problem i have is what right do the Democrats have to tell who can and who cant run as an independent. They have none. Thats what really bothers me with this. If Nader wants to run, it is his RIGHT and no one should be 'ordering' to not if that is what he wants to do
  6. as a Chiefs fan, i hope this goes through because i am sick of seeing Portis run over the Chiefs, and its only been 2 years, but iy's been a long 2 years, lol
  7. what i find hilarious is how the Democratic party is basically telling him to sit down and not run. What right is it of theirs to tell another what to do? It woul dbe hysterical if Nader responds by asking Kerry to step down so he (Nader) has a better chance of winning.
  8. yep, thats how i feel. I would love to go to 50 or so Sox games a year, but being a 20 year old student in New York, well, that's not exactly possible
  9. are you suggesting Democrats, as opposed to Republicans, are the "Normal Americans"?....because if so, then i would beg to differ
  10. why would you support THEM? shame, shame
  11. very BAD trade in my opinion. I saw Laich (pronounced 'LIKE') probably 15 times this year and he has impressed me more than any other Sens prospect other than Spezza, Vermette and Emery. Laich is a good skater, crisp passer, wins a lot of faceoffs, crashes the net, captains their main powerplay, can kill penalties, has a good shot...oh ya, he's only 20! This is his first year away from juniors and he has been very impressive this year, especially since coming back from mono after missing a month in late december. Added to this they threw in a SECOND round pick? In my opinion, they made a mistake. Just watch, i bet Laich is on the AHL All-Rookie team and ends up spending a good majority of the season in Washington next year. Muckler gave up too much in my opinion
  12. i gotta agree with Liv Tyler. Even if its not her, it sure does look like her
  13. very interesting. Bush is also related to Colin Powell but a little more closely than 16th cousins, lol. but by the way, i saw a link to a story about Billy the Kid on the bottom of the page which is cool cuz my family is pretty sure we're related to him
  14. uh-oh, so you mean they have THREE good prospects!
  15. erick almonte, one decent pitcher, thats just about it
  16. SportsCenter just confirmed a minute ago that WABC-TV out of NEw York is reporting that Maddux WILL sign with the Yankee$ this week. We'll see :puke
  17. Tupac, that was way too easy, i got that as soon as i saw it
  18. i was only talking about the Division, not the ALCS
