  1. ^^^ i totally agree. That ad is such bulls***, i applaud CBS for refusing to run it. The ad obviously is made to bash Bush and make him out as the 'bad guy' but seriously, how can you blame the deficit on Bush??? We've had a f***ing deficit for decades. Do you think Clinton didnt contribute to it? Or Gore wouldnt have done so? Come on, same song every time. Whine, whine, whine. The ad is ridiculous, cant we just watch the SuperBowl and have fun without being bombarded with propaganda (from either side).
  2. over-rated? Bulls***! Best player in the country (Okafor) Top 10 pick in next years draft (Gordon) One of the best Freshman in the country (Villanueva) Then add in Denham Brown who can easily go off for 20, Rashad Anderson who can shoot with the best of them, Taliek Brown who is a good defender and passer, and freshman Josh Boone who keeps getting better. I am a UCONN fan and it IS frustrating as hell seeing them lose to a team like Providence. But am i surprised? No, it's been their M.O. for years. Even look at their first games of the year, Nevada and Yale. They didnt exactly blow them out. I stand by my belief that UCONN is one of the top 2 or 3 most talented teams in the country and have as good a chance as anyone of winning it all this year. The game they lost vs Georgia Tech they shot something like 9-30 from the FT line and Okafor played with back spasms all night. Against UNC (IN UNC btw) they just flat out played like s*** in the first half and dug themselves too much of a hole. And today, well Gordon wasnt 100% but they just didnt come ready to play. They, for many years now, play to the level of their opponents, and this is what can happen when they do so. However, i'm not worried, when it comes tournament time, not many teams will be able to play with them
  3. Diaz is 'iffy' as to whether or not he'll be on the list. But Rauch for sure will be on it. It takes time to come back from an injury like he had, then we further stunted his development by rushing him up. Last year, especially in the second half, he pitched quite well and gave hope that maybe he can come back and be a valuable part of this organization for many years to come. IMO, Rauch is pretty close to a 'shoe-in' for the list
  4. ya that scam popped up a while ago, dont fall for it. General rule (unfortunately) is that if it seems too good to be true....it usually is lol

  12. i liked the State of the Union address. If anything is "sickening" as someone mentioned before, its Nancy Pelosi's speech. "Democrats have a better way, blah blah blah..." I just find it hilarious how when anything goes bad, its Bush and the Republicans fault, but when something goes well it is NOT because of Bush or the Republicans. At least that's the way they play it out as....
  13. i'm sure Anderson will be on the list along with Reed and Borchard. Then the rest may all be pitchers. Rauch, Honel, Cotts, Wing, Diaz, Pacheco, Munoz maybe
  14. with the Sox not winning since 1917 and the Cubs since 1908, add that the Bears havent done much since the mid-80's and the Blackhawks have been bad for a while, how is Chicago not on the list?
