  1. what is NTN? Is there any site that has good trivia games where multiple people can play online?
  2. i rarely lose in any trivia games. And if it has anything to do with history or geography, the other person is done before the game starts
  3. what? i thought we were playing the NL East in inter league. Damn, i thought they'd be playing at the Mets this year. That sucks, thats 3 less games i'll get to this year
  4. ya but Shannen appears topless only. As for Britney i hope she says yes
  5. i was bowing down to Alyssa, not you lol Alyssa.....
  6. i meant men's soccer and if anyone know's about soccer, i'd be curious in your opinions too
  7. oh you may have, i know you've posted some, i didnt remember seeing this one tho, the thread's so long now, heh
  8. By the way, SuperSteve, you seem to know a lot about soccer, dont come across many of those, so who do you think the top 10 in the world are...not in order, just top 10. I'd go with: -Ronaldo -Luis Figo -David Beckham -Zenedine Zidane -Roberto Carlos -Edgar Davids -Ole Gunnar Soljskaier (sp?) -Rivaldo -Alessandro Del Piero -Michael Ballack -Goalie: Oliver Kahn Honorable mention to: -Freddy Ljunberg -Thierry Henry -Ronaldhino -Raul -Patrick Kluivert -Michael Owen -El Hadji Diouf
  9. no i dont see him starting in 2006 either, but you know he'll be on the team. I see him doing what Beasley did in 2002 to a lesser extent. Maybe come in late to use his speed to generate scoring opportunities.
  10. i think he may. a 15 year old at the Olympics is not unheard of. Teams like Nigeria, Senegal, Brazil even have 16-17 year olds playing in Olympics sometimes. I think Adu will be on the team if he can hold his own in the MLS. He wont be the star of the team, but i wouldnt be surprised if he was on the team
  11. well ya obviously they are. I mean they have bought 5 of probably the top 10 players in the world in Ronaldo, Beckham, Luis Figo, Zidane and Roberto Carlos. And Raul and Casillas are no slouches either. Short of David Seaman and Oliver Kahn, not many keepers are better than Casillas. And Phillipe Cocu is quite the player to have coming off of your bench.
  12. well i seriously believe we will contend in 2006. Adu, Donovan, Beasley, Wolff, O'Brien, Regis, Sanneh, Mathis, Howard, McBride, we'll have a good team, probably better than the 2002 squad. It'll be interesting to see how they do in the Olympics, although i believe its for players under the age of 23 or something like that, but Beasley, Donovan, Adu, Convey and a few others will be eligible.
  13. the MLS will never become great in my opinion. Just look at the English, Spanish and Italian Premiere Leagues. Not to mention the Dutch, German and French, among others. But i mean look at Real Madrid. That team could beat an MLS All-Star team, with Beckham, Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Raul, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, and Casillas in goal. And thats just one team, albeit probably the most talented team in Europe. Plus, soccer is sooooo important and loved over there. I'd love for the MLS to become great, but its not like it would just take a very long time, i just dont see it ever happening
  14. what about Valderamma, Moreno, and Etchevarria, they're known players. And there are several good american players too, with McBride, Mathis, Preki, Donovan, Beasley, Wolf
  15. well there are some known foreigners, but you're right, there are no "star" foreigners
  16. no i think he may have signed with Man U's junior team but i dont think he signed with the Premier club. This is great news for the MLS though. Adu's prescence may also persuade Donovan and Beasly to stick around a few more years, becuase their moves to Europe are inevitable.
  17. well i really dont like Oklahoma much and i really dont think anyone has a shot to beat them except USC.
  18. Grudz got an 8th place vote? lol thats hysterical. Also whats kinda interesting is Pierre got a good number of votes while Pudge got just 5.
  19. great, sign him immediately! If its true he's looking for 3-4 million, KW should offer him that right away. THIS is a guy truly worth that money and could do wonders for our team on and off the field, and if we lose Maggs, he could help alleviate some of the potential loss of merchandise revenue and that sort of thing. I dont know how the Japanese population in Chicago is, but if we were to sign him, then their attendance to Sox games would surely rise. Look at NY and Seattle.
