  1. Let's see what the standings look like when they leave Minnesota on May 12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 10:56 PM) Fall out of this? In April? Geesh.
  2. Nice start for Nevin Griffith. It would be great if he turned into a prospect we could get excited about.
  3. Ubaldo Jimenez is taking a no-hitter to the 9th.
  4. 2-run homer for Flowers. 4-0 in the 3rd.
  5. The lineup Hudson is facing isn't exactly the 1927 Yankees. More like the 2010 White Sox.
  6. Hudson gave up a hit and two walks in the first inning, but no runs scored. He seems to have first inning issues, but then settles down. Double for Danks.
  7. If the Sox fall out of this in the next few weeks, there won't be any point of having Freddy Garcia on the team. That may be the biggest factor of them all.
  8. I think that manager in Birmingham may be a good candidate. If I knew how to spell his name, I would.
  9. The thing that sucks the most about that move to leave Peavy in is that it's out of character for Ozzie to do that. He'll usually bend backwards to get the starter a quality start with the lead and get out of there. Just a bad move.
  10. Ozzie Guillen is living off of 2005. He is awful.
  11. It would be nice, but that's what they're going to have to get used to. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 05:06 PM) Would it be asking too much for the Sox to get an insurance run so the bullpen doesn't have to be perfect?
  12. Back to back lefties--they're setting up Danks and Buehrle for May 11 and 12 in Minnesota. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 10:43 AM) they are skipping his next start as we have an off day....good move
  13. 3-run homer for Shelby.
  14. This team has no sack. No desire to stomp the s*** out of bad teams. By the time they play the Twins on May 11, they'll be 7-8 games out, and nobody will honestly think they're in it. The season could get out of hand very quickly if they don't string some good baseball games starting tomorrow. The Twins have 18 straight games against the Tigers, Royals, and Indians. It wouldn't surprise me if they just go 13-5 or 14-4 and take control of the division with no real threat of being caught.
  15. Beckham and Quentin shouldn't have any days off unless they are hurting or slumping bad. The Sox need to sweep this s*** team and get back one of the losses from the first series.
  16. Not sure. Maybe Freddy will just be gone. Maybe they'll dump Williams and not have two lefties. Maybesomebody will be on the DL. I just don't think Hudson will be held up if he pitches great in AAA. If he's ready, he'll be up. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 02:43 PM) Who would then get moved out of the bullpen to make room for Freddy?
  17. I want to hear what injury Andruw Jones is dealing with, otherwise this is complete bulls***. f*** you, Ozzie.
  18. If Hudson pitches great at AAA, I expect him to be the starting pitcher on June 3 vs Texas. Freddy is going to get nine starts, and he'll have 3 quality starts and 2 wins, and the Sox will probably go 3-6 in his starts and he'll be moved to the bullpen.
  19. Flowers at .391--that's a good thing. Hope he's getting his swing back.
  20. Nice start for Harrell, and the AAA team is getting some hits tonight. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/gameday...chraaa_noraaa_1
  21. If it's June and Freddy Garcia is just half good and half bad, but Hudson is ALL good at Charlotte, I want him in the rotation. But we'll cross that bridge...
  22. Our long national nightmare is over. Ladies and gentleman, the 2010 season has begun.
  23. The frustrating thing is that there have been some positives this season. They just look like they're finding ways to lose.
