2010 AL Central Catch-All
Maybe the Tigers have someone they think can pitch every 5th game better than Porcello. I don't think the Sox are in that position with 2B, and Beckham. Let's face it, if CJ Retherford went to AAA this year and hit .300, he would have been up. But he sucked and now is back in AA. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 20, 2010 -> 12:07 PM) Porcello down to AAA. If the Tigers can make that move, we can send Beckham down as well.

Laumann was on with Rongey today. I missed who he said was going right to Kannapolis--either Saladino or Terry. Anyone hear which?

Interleague tally... AL leads 74-66. Sox, Tigers, and Red Sox are 24-6. The other 11 AL teams are 50-60.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Knocked off 3 games during interleague so far. Twins 5-5 (2 at Phi, 3 at Mil, 3 at NYM) Tigers 8-2 (2 vs Arz, 3 at NYM, 3 at Atl) Sox 8-2 (2 at Was, 3 vs Atl, 3 vs Cubs) The next 8 games are HUGE. They have to keep it going.

Sox draft signings and reporting places
According to MLB Trade Rumors, the Sox have signed 22 players. They failed to provide a link, and there's nothing on the Sox website, so maybe tomorrow? edit: The Sox website does have a story now, but hasn't listed the signed players on their database yet. Bastards.

Heyman: KW wants to fire Ozzie
I think KW steps down after this season. Ozzie stays for another year, at least. Depending on the outcome of the season, maybe he'll be gone after 2011.

Top banner change?
Ozzie, Kenny, and Joe Cowley?

6/13 Games
I think Hudson will be up after the break no matter what. Either to replace Garcia if he gets traded, or to be in bullpen if the Sox magically get back in the race. Plus they'll need a spot starter in early August with the doubleheader in Detroit on August 3rd. They may be able to push back the spot start to Aug 7 vs Baltimore.

Hudson took the loss. 8-3, 3.91
