Pierre -- LF, Vizquel -- SS, Rios -- CF, Quentin -- DH, Kotsay -- 1B AJ - c Jones -- RF Viciedo -- 3B Beckham --2B So Paulie gets a day off because he made the all star team. That sucks.

Greinke scratched as a precaution. Shoulder. Lerew starts!!!

Scott Kazmir got shelled tonight. He goes to the break with a 6.92 ERA.

s***. I wasted all that time.

QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 10, 2010 -> 09:28 PM) I'm too lazy to look them up, but I'd love to go back and read some of those "our season is over, we suck, we'll never catch the Twins" posts that cluttered the board before we got rolling. I'm sure I had a few of them, but I really don't want to hear from the ultra-positive "it's early" group. The fact is the Sox were in a bad spot, and it's incredible that they have won 24 of 29. Let's just be thankful and enjoy the second half. 27 games with Minnesota and Detroit. Buckle in. It's going to be fun.

24-33 then 24-5 48-38 That's incredible.

Cliffy is having a rough one in his Rangers debut. Chris Tillman is shutting down the Rangers, too.

What about Branyan? I would call him a last resort, but maybe the Mariners would move him now that they have Smoak.

I remember at the end of May I said the Sox needed to go 25-12 until the break to get back into it. Sure enough, they are 25-10 with 2 left, and they are right there.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 10, 2010 -> 09:46 AM) When did the filming actually occur though, and is it still filming now? I know they started in spring training, and I thought I had read they'll film through the trade deadline (July 31).

To win 90, we need these records...very doable: Det 8-6 Min 7-6 Oak 5-4 KC 5-3 Bal 4-3 Bos 3-4 Sea 4-3 Cle 4-2 LAA 1-2 NY 2-1

No one is getting the memo on this. July 18th.

Need Floyd to seal it up tomorrow. I'm tired of seeing the Sox lose series to KC and Cleveland. Sorry to be negative when the Sox are 23-5 the last 28, but Greinke is probably going to beat Hudson.

Morel 2-2, 2 doubles. Avg up to .287.

Smoak and Brett Wallace both traded from the 2008 draft. Could Gordon be next?

This is crazy considering he's supposed to be starting tonight. Let's see if that happens. Go Reds.

Like the Sox would have taken on his $16 mil next year anyway. Non-story for us as far as I'm concerned.

http://twitter.com/BloggingBombers/status/18128556417 Hey let's get Javy back!

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 09:01 AM) Bruce Chen is still in the majors???? Good for him I guess. He's been pitching great too.

I don't see us matching up with Seattle. Let's get a bat. Hudson will be fine.

I wonder when they just say, screw it, and send Sale to Charlotte.

Morel is so under the radar. I even forget about him sometimes when I think of prospects that could be involved in trades.

Chew on this... In the last 27 games, the Sox are 22-5, and have outscored their opponent 128-69. The opponent is scoring an average of 2.56 runs a game. That's incredible for that long of a period.
