I was really hoping Carlos would be back today. Jason Berken is a pitcher we have never seen before and thats never a good sign for this team.

Heres to hoping we start the second half better than we ended the first.

No CQ tonight. Per Trib:

Podsednik lf

Ramirez ss

Dye rf

Thome dh

Konerko 1b

Pierzynski c

Getz 2b

Beckham 3b

Wise cf

Danks p

If we keep Wise around, and send out Fields or Anderson instead, on TCQ's return, I am going to be very unhappy.

I don't think Fields would go anywhere. I don't think we have another back up first basemen.

"unhappy" is only scratching the surface for me.

Is baseball the only sport where the defense controls the ball?

Go you White Sox!

I'd tend to agree on logic, however, I've seen some articles recently, like in the Trib, that hinted Fields may be the odd man out.
