They need to add back a starting pitcher, but will have loads of money to chase Lester and Scherzer both after the season. I read something that claimed the Red Sox were actually thinking about making Jose Abreu a third basemen if they signed him. It kind of makes you wonder with the ability he has shown at first base, and the transformation of his body, they expect him to drop 15 more pounds by next season, if the White Sox might think never say never to something similar. Don't want to try to get him to slim down more to play 3B, work on his agility and then end up hurting his ankle somehow.
