The Brewers are two wins away from a World Series title. They have needed that home run ball? lol

That is to say, it’s a crapshoot once you get to the postseason, but you’re going for frequency of production, not aggregate volume. A longball-only offense will give you aggregate volume that helps and evens out over a 162-game season, but you are likelier to enter a “famine” cycle in a short series compared to a diversified offense.

I have always felt that a one-dimensional HR / K offense is probably your best bet to get you to the postseason, but a multifaceted offense will tip the odds in your favor once you get there.

8 of those players have lost value from Opening Day...all but Antonacci you can argue about Sandlin but generally selling low on assets and buying high or close to peak doesn't work out very well and Antonacci has more value at 2B trading Meidroth at an all-time high and moving Antonacci is more logical but everyone will scream Chase is too important to move now and was in many ways the co MVP with Vargas

No way. We have the ammo to get an arm without giving up a major chip. Carlson, Schultz, Antonocci, McDougal, Sandlin, Martin, Wolkow, Bergolla, Quero Not saying we are going up get a top 10 arm with a package of 4/5 of them…but a very good SP

Away Back GoneGuardians pitching depth takes hit with loss of two relie...Guardians relievers Connor Brogdon and Carlos Hernández are now minor league free agents. You'll get old friend Carlos Hernandez

Texas Tech shamelessly supported Sorsby's attempts to sue his way into uniform—an attempt that ended when the Big 12 filed a checkmate lawsuit of its own. Sorsby dropped the fight, and that was that. But cocky Cody vowed vengeance on the documentary. “Looking back on it, I know that Texas Tech and I handled everything with integrity, and we did things the right way,” said Campbell, who also chairs the school’s Board of Regents. “I think this is something that could have been handled much more privately. We’re not going to forget about that, and I don’t think they’ll forget about it either when we’re up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter. That’s where the retribution will come." Oooooops!!! si.com

Checks notes nobody can touch this MIL pen when Megill's unavailable they still have Uribe and Ashby for high leverage the problem is they're still 4-5 (2 starters/3 relievers) pitchers away and already spent $22-23 million on Castillo for 2027

It's personal preference. Mune Colson Vargas vs. Caminero Diaz Aranda what is the faith level right now for those first two Sox hitters? and the competition level now is a totally different animal

Yeah Yandy didn't go. But not being prepared to hit a 3-1 curveball right down the middle is really...something.

Checks notes,, game 2 and the Astros series.

Speed defense fundamentals/execution/manufacturing runs or small ball ability contact rate rotation bullpen hitting homers only advantage

He did not go. They need to automate this

Not going to Megill is interesting. Maybe because the top of the order saw him yesterday?

More like we need at least 2 more reliable starters.

Watching this, I don't think the gap between us and the Rays is that big. It's the little things that we need to close the gap.

Is Williamson the best bat they have off the bench?

Mesa came up in a different system.

Rays not being able to get the bunt down. They usually do that better than anyone.

I don't think I've seen a team worse at recovering onside kicks than Texas. Well...maybe the Packers.

Trading Colson isn't going to get you a ToR arm... So Bonemer +++ depending on MLB proven profile as a frontline starter...

Your probably right.

Sarkisian/Manning live on to fight another day Lincoln Riley has to be done at USC. Bob Chesney of UCLA looking like early favorite for Coach of the Year

White Sox Guardians Rays all three bullpens collapsed from overuse/reliance

And Turang does it again. Ridiculous.
