I would say that now Seranthony should be relegated to mop up duty,a very expensive mop up pitcher though.

Hudson has extreme reverse splits, and he was brought in because of the leverage not the inning. It just didn’t work out.

Preller led Getz around by the nose (and I think we got lucky with Vargas; but I don't think the Dodgers tried to get on over on him either. That was Mozeliak, who I hope Getz has put on his ban list. Hopefully Getz has learned.

What in the world was Venable doing? Hudson was really the last pitcher in the bullpen to bring in to get out of a jam with good right-handed hitters coming up. Hudson has been good this year, but he's a soft-tossing control lefty. It's really bizarre. It's also strange how he closes 2 nights ago (instead of Taylor) and then now he's the first guy in. Well Venable earns his money here, getting this gang to pull themselves up and put this game behind them. And there is a general concern about the offense. Hasn't been great recently.

A tie ballgame in the first two innings is also probably too much leverage for Ma’amanthony.

If they are gonna use Dominguez at all, let him open for Fedde to get Ser over with early.

Agree. It was a high leverage situation for Dominguez, for which he has not been good at.

Very doubtful, but I could see them convincing themselves they need Meidroth’s grinder mentality more than slugging.

The rough thing for Getz is it’s been reported no one wants to start trading until a day or two before deadline. Problem is that this team really needs some immediate help given their tough upcoming schedule.

he's too 1 dimensional with the bat, lift and pull everything, with zero approach at all with 2 strikes. it's like dude, they're not gonna groove you something on 0-2, it's gonna be off the plate 😂

Moving him out of the cleanup spot as some have said sounds like a good idea.
