7 PM madness, 9 PM madness, and midnight madness all begin tonight, so I figured it'd be a good time to get this one started up.

Well, it was a hell of a run last year. Hopefully we can stay in the top 25 and challenge for the big ten title. Should be a fun year in the big ten.

SIU loses 2 time MVC player of the year, Derron Brooks, but still have a lot of talent back. Go Salukis!

I really like Memphis this year watch out for them.

B10 should be a helluva battle.

Time for Dee Brown to prove his leadership and lead this team. With Augustine still there too, things could be good for the Illini this year.

WHAT THE f***

Iowa State is not a top 25 team. No f***ing way.

Is there anyway we can just fast forward an entire year :P

Marco Killingsworth will basically give you all nightmares.

Indiana's front court will be absolutely sick. DJ, Marco, Cem, and Ben are just tall.

One guy had them 14, while a few had them above Iowa.

I'll say right now Alford will find a way to blow it (apologies to those that know the guy) but as of right now they deserve the 12-19 range. ISU deserves 30-40 without a proven post player. They can change that, but they don't deserve it right now unless Blalock shows up this year.

8 PM Madness at DePaul.

Pierre Pierce does not approve of this thread.

The Matt Painter era begins with what should be another horrible Purdue squad.

ESPN.com's poll is crap. No way Iowa, Kansas, or Inidiana should be close to the polls at this point. I liked TSN's better:

1. Michigan State

2. Duke

3. Texas

4. UCONN

5. Villanova

6. Arizona

7. Oklahoma

8. Louisville

9. Kentucky

10. Gonzaga

11. Boston College

12. Nevada

13. Syracuse

14. Stanford

15. Memphis

16. Wake Forest

17. UCLA

18. Iowa State

19. Texas Tech

20. Georgetown

21. Illinois

22. Alabama

23. Iowa

24. Maryland

25. Miami

And on ISU, they are a good team, rank worthy IMO. However, they are not the "best backcourt combo in the MidWest". Atleast, not when those two guards 26% of their 3's last year.

Who is that dunking greasy?

Wisconsin not even a vote for the top 25.

But then again, pre-season ranks are all about flash.

Should be another interesting year.

AJ Ratliff. He's going over DJ, Vaden, and Ahlfeld.

To help cheer me up from the Steelers loss a little, the Tar Heels finished off one of the all-time great recruiting classes.

That's an insane class. With the new NBA age limit, you're going to see more of these type of superstar classes where the players think they can come in and win it all their freshman year.
