  1. Jeez. First pitch to Abreu was a cookie and he spoiled it
  2. Great AB by Yoan
  3. Of course, it's right at him. Just like Yolmer last night.
  4. That was a very nice play
  5. That's actually so boring that it's become fascinating to me.
  6. SSSSIIIIXXXXXXXTTTYYYY NNNIIIIINNNNNNEEEEE Yeah! High five!
  7. Let's just try not to run into each other.
  8. Yeah, this is a big nothing burger and seems totally precautionary. We're fine. ... Thank god
  9. Eh... I mean, Eloy's done that sh*t three times now and twice over the past couple of weeks. I'd be stunned if he wasn't reminded that the CF has priority. Regardless, it's such an f'ing elementary mistake. You shouldn't have to remind a player of that past high school.
  10. In basketball, I believe this. A lot of young players don't think much about strength or flexibility training. They just play ball. It's not like football where you're trying to move a human being or baseball where you're trying to muscle a ball with a bat. So, they don't think about it much. However, in other sports? There's so much of that. I don't buy that as an occurrence in baseball. Especially nowadays, there's so much attention to it. Especially when it comes to the throwing arm.
  11. Well, that's definitely what happened. What ligaments or tendons did he specifically tear/sprain? Who knows
  12. You said that every positive from the 1st half has been erased over the last 5 days and included Moncada. I mean, that's a pretty big statement and going to garner a reaction.
  13. Stop... stop... just stop. It's like 8-9 PA's. For chrissake. lol
  14. Does there exist a baseball player in history who doesn't have weeks like that?
  15. I would be livid if I was a HS coach and my team was performing like this defensively.
  16. Pretty impressive given the current state of the defense around him.
  17. Eh... that's such a meat ball criticism of a manger or coach. Fans are p*ssed and are just looking for something with that. 99% of baseball managers are non-reactionary. If he started screaming all red faced, he'd get bashed for being a blithering/hapless fool.
  18. What makes that play even sadder? You knew it was coming... Admit you did. lol
  19. Alright guys, I really can't do this... Have a good night.
  20. They've done that twice previously that I've seen. Nearly got them hurt on our last homestand.
  21. Now, but elbows and knees are weird. They can hyper extend if hit just right at an awkward angle.
  22. Stingers are in the shoulder. That seemed like an elbow hyperextension.
