Has Moncada been put on the IL yet?

How come when other teams players bust it down the line they don't get hurt?

Ok let me change that to lately he has been hurt all the time.

Nothing better than when the Sox are playing good, competitive baseball. Had high hopes for this season, other than the fact the FO did nothing about getting a quality 2B. But the constant injuries and the team not hitting and just general poor, lackadaisical play all around has really been a downer.

What is Moncada's contract situation? Would anyone be dumb enough to trade for him?

Moncada has no love for the game. Since getting the big contract he has been hurt all the time. And when he does play he rarely hustles. Both him and Eloy need to be traded while anyone still thinks they have value.

If the Sox miss the playoffs this year and they bring back TLR at 78 yrs old they will lose a huge chunk of whatever fan base they have left. At that point they will just be a complete clown show of an organization.

I don't know if he has it in him but TA needs to become a vocal leader of this team. He can't be enjoying this right now. He is a competitive guy. Maybe if he starts calling some people out without actually naming them he can light a fire.

I'm right there with you. He should of been pulled for not hustling to first but TLR is a gutless old man.

Time to start watching that third wildcard spot and how far out the Sox are as that is the only chance of making the playoffs they will have. Maybe someone should start a thread dedicated to just that. As of right now they are 1.5 GB of the final spot.

Hernandez is a gas can. If the Sox can't hit him they are in bigger trouble than we already think they are. In 6 starts his ERA is 9.11. In 26.2 innings of work he has given up 39 hits. His WHIP is 2.03.

I understand that firing Menechino won't solve all the problems this team has but at least it might send a message to the players that hey your crappy performance just caused a guy to lose his job. Like so many here have mentioned the team looks incredibly lackadaisical and something has to be done to shake things up.

The FO doesn't care. JR won his World Series and brought back TLR to atone for his sin of letting him go so he is all good now.

So TA, Robert, Vaughn, and Abreau all sit tomorrow right?
