Just maybe the best thing that can happen to this team right now is to get their butts handed to them the next couple weeks and find themselves 5 games out of first. Maybe then TLR and the players will realize they aren't the juggernaut they think they are and winning the division and making the playoffs is going to be a real battle. And also maybe then the front office will get the message that this team needs to make some moves or this year is going to end up in major disappointment.

TLR is a stubborn 77 yr old man who is set in his ways of thinking and isn't going to change. He makes his decisions based on gut instincts alone. He thinks he is the smartest guy in the room.

This lineup has me beyond infuriated with TLR. Especially coming off of two days off and probably another couple in the next week because of crappy weather. What irony it would be if the Sox miss the playoffs by one game.

Yes the defense was beyond awful but anyone can see that DK has nothing left. And it isn't just this performance we all knew he was finished way before this. Sox need to stop thinking he is somehow going to come around and keep starting him. I understand they owe him a crap load of money yet and don't want to just eat that but stick him in the bullpen then.

This is all on the players. Just an absolute embarrassment. They think they are better than they are. Cleveland is going to put an absolute butt whipping on them today.

Mcgwire was amazing behind the plate today. I'm starting to get a good feeling about this team.

I'm really encouraged by this team battling through all the injuries and winning these early games. Have to find a way to get Eloy going. I really like how Burger looks both in the field and at the plate. Get one of the the next two and win another series!

The Sox are really going to need another quality starter if they expect to make a serious run this year. How they go about doing that is up for debate but the fact they need to do it shouldn't be at all.
