  1. I'm sorry but I can't take the Cease stache serious.
  2. I live in MI and it's funny to hear the Tiger fans going crazy over Baez after one game.
  3. If this team doesn't score a ton of runs this year they are going to be in big trouble.
  4. This x100! TLR asleep at the wheel again.
  5. Thats why you play Vaughn every day, He needs as many AB's as possible.
  6. Where do you bat AJ when TA is back?
  7. Just wait till the Tigers sweep the Sox this weekend.
  8. The Sox better hit right out of the gate this year or things could go south in a hurry with this pitching staff.
  9. The guy is 50 lbs overweight and were shocked he has knee issues? And I can say that because I'm in the same boat. Until he takes conditioning serious his knees will always be an issue.
  10. I don't think Moncada has a love for the game. He shows no passion out there. basically looks like he is going through the motions. He needs to have the fear of losing his job put in to him.
  11. If you actual start Keuchel in a regular season game this year you will be basically giving a game away. He is done. He has nothing left. If you keep him he has to go to the bullpen and be the last guy ever used. Mop up innings in blow outs.
  12. I can't believe the Sox are going in to the season with Keuchel. He has absolutely nothing left in the tank.
  13. If, and it's a big if, Pollock can stay healthy for the majority of the season it's a great deal. The big question now is what do you do with AV and GS. If AV is on the roster he has to get steady at bats. And I love GS as a much needed left handed bat but you now have a huge logjam of outfielders. Something has to give. Will be very interesting to see what happens in the next week.
  14. Have to try to scratch out runs any way possible and hope the pitching staff can hold the cheaters to 3 or less
  15. The Sox are a team of great competitors. This guy has completely dominated them 3 times this season. They just faced him 5 days ago. Every player in the line up tomorrow should have a damn good plan of attacking him. They are going to know that tomorrow there is no room for any error and they have to fight and claw for every possible run. They should be totally locked in. You want to be the best you have to beat the best.
  16. Get to the game however you can. You may never get another chance.
  17. I wanted to be there so badly last night but my health issue just doesn't let me get to games easily anymore. But watching it from home I was so proud of the Sox fans who showed up loud and proud! We have always been the underdogs and get such an unfair bad rap from other fan bases. But the truth is Sox fans are just as loyal as any fan base in MLB. And last night the whole country saw that first hand. The park sounded electric. I just knew this team had too much heart to get swept. And I'm thrilled the faithful Sox fans get at least one more home playoff game to experience.
  18. Can't be afraid to face McCullers tomorrow. Your going to have to beat him to advance no matter what day he pitches. If I'm a Sox player I would really want another shot at him anyway. It's called being a competitor. The extra time off helps the Sox in that it makes both Bummer and Tepera available. You also have Lynn who could throw an inning or maybe two. Hopefully not too many fans are negatively affected by the cancellation and the place is still packed and loud tomorrow because that really gave the team a boost last night.
  19. Tough call on the rain today. Hopefully the Rate is packed again. TLR and the players all said the crowd really helped them. Everyone other than Gio has to be available today. Got to get to that 5th game any way possible and then anything can happen.
  20. Has this ever been answered? Why does Dusty where gloves and all those wristbands? Is he OCD?
  21. The Sox can't manage or play thinking about tomorrow. All that matters now is winning tonight. It will be the same thing tomorrow if they get there.
  22. Tepera and Bummer potentially have kept hope alive for the Sox. Outstanding job by both.
