Adam Engel Back to the IL - Hamstring
100%. As has been stated like a broken record, there is no depth that gets you by while losing Eloy and Robert. The Sox have been getting by on great starting pitching and the offense was being carried for a good part of the year by a 28 year old Rookie DH who has been terrible for almost 2 months now. a) rather than looking for ASG votes, TA, Moncada, Abreu, and Grandal need to start earning their pay. Carry this offense until hopefully Eloy gets back and perhaps Vaughn's lightbulb finally stays lit consistently b) bullpen needs to step up in a big way. No more squandering late leads c) Hahn needs to get off his ass and get aggressive. Convince JR to take on salary so he can make a trade with the limited prospect resources he has.

Heyman: Sox interested in someone on some team. Nightengale: *nods*
Agreed. The lack of HR power on this team is very disturbing. They go down 3-0 and it's game over.

Is it time to rebuild the rebuild?
Teams no longer make those types of trades that got us here.

This is the same bullshit people said in 2005. Get there first, and get there healthy. Debbie Downer

They just won a series from a real good Rays team.

I'll take my chances if we get there in full strength. Silly are those already jumping off the wagon .

Other than fitting into many different gloves, I don't know what Leury does well at Baseball.

Abreu just can't get any lift on the ball. Despite the 50+ RBIs, he's been a hard watch.

We so needed that there from Moncada.

When Engel went in to replace him.

Vaughn left with an injury, but I guess LaRussa is also responsible for bouncing that throw to his face.

Sox @ Astros, 6/18 7:10 Central
Bingo. He's infatuated with his phony OBP% stat that he refuses to attack early in the count. All we needed was flyball contact. I hate his game like no other player that's ever worn a Sox uniform. Especially when accounting for what he's getting paid.

Yawn. Fuck this offense.

Sox @ Astros, 6/18 7:10 Central
Not when everyone behind you in the lineup is worth a shit.

Sox @ Astros, 6/18 7:10 Central
When people go gaga about Grandal and his OBP% stat, ABs like that one there is the reason why many Sox fans can't stand him. $18.5 million dollars, HIT A DAMN FLY BALL ! ?

6/17 Sox @ Astros, 7:10 CT
The sox don't have the firepower to get into a mashing contest with any of the elite teams. Starting pitching has to be great in order for us to compete vs good teams. The margin for error is none.

Luckily two off days next week. But these are the outings that can kill a bullpen.

Hahn: Too early to know if Sox will be buyers
Health is the biggest addition the White Sox can make come the deadline.

6/16 Rays @ Sox, 1:10 CT
Tony LaRussa bought his team an inning. Yeah, no one is going to say that.
