It's about time Marshal puts that newly acquired college degree to work. DFA this clown.

Sox @ Tigers, 6/12 3:10 ct
I don't think we lose much defensively with Mendick over Madrigal. In fact, it's the other way around. If he could just hit enough, we'll be alright.

Burr is going to make LaRussa have to put away his Unwritten Rules Book, and allow the Sox to keep scoring.

Reading the first two pages of this thread when the line-up was released is pure Gold.

I find it way more weird that people (Sox Fans) allow the Cubs to take space in their minds on a day to day basis. They don't play in the same division or league, there's no relevance to this rivalry unless you play them head to head.

You and others still believe this myth, come on now. The Cubs have sucked for my entire lifetime and they remain the more popular team each year, and it's not even close. Cubs losing (which btw they haven't now for a good sustained run here) and "Cubs being Idiots" has had little effect to no impact in helping White Sox business. And that's a fact. Let's stop bringing on this Cubs bullshit on these White Sox threads, please.

Jose Abreu - BAD in high leverage situations
The shit people write after single losses. It's a Marathon folks.

6/1 - White Sox (33-20) @ Cleveland (28-24) - 6:10pm EDT - NBCSC/FS1
Yeah, but first base wasn't open and Ramirez basically went out of the zone to to get that. I have no problem with that. Yesterday however, was inexcusable .

6/1 - White Sox (33-20) @ Cleveland (28-24) - 6:10pm EDT - NBCSC/FS1
This is the part that's important. Short outings for a contender are unacceptable. Can't have guys burning out the pen like this.

6/1 - White Sox (33-20) @ Cleveland (28-24) - 6:10pm EDT - NBCSC/FS1
They're not hitting him hard. He's just nibbling all over the place and not going after them with his power stuff to strike people out. This is the old Cease from the past.

Nibble Nibble Cease is back.

GT 5/31 G2: SOX @ INDIANS
OK Nostradamus. I didn't realize we had Mantle and Ruth waiting on that bench.

GT 5/31 G2: SOX @ INDIANS
Who's the best player he didn't put in position to succeed today? Vaughn wasn't available. Mendick and Garcia are a wash. So who? use TA at that moment? Was he available, do we know if perhaps he isn't dealing with something? The micro - dissecting of every loss just to try prove that LaRussa is an idiot at the job is quite tiresome and annoying. HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

This. 100% This.

100% agree here, pitching to Ramirez with first base open in any circumstance is a bonehead decision.
