Soxtalk meteorologists have never been right. Perhaps today is a first.

We aren't in Chicago for one.

They’ll probably call this one early. Future radar looks pretty bad all day.

Wait, you mean not every team collects parking and concessions money before calling a game?

Wouldn't hate this.

This is a big one.  The difference between leaving town up 3.5 games with no ground lost, and 4 more head to head games off of the schedule, or up 1.5 games.

They’re not getting this game in today

If it’s a no go, the Sox pen will really be ready for Detroit, which works for me cuz I flew into Chicago and will be at the game tomorrow night.

More importantly, Lynn doesn’t have to start on 3 days rest

Sox not in Cleveland again until the next to last week of the season. Both teams are scheduled to be off on Monday 9/27

I’m guessing 2 on 9/23. They’ll keep that Monday open just in case.

Interesting they changed from Morgan to Mejia.   Quantrill will definitely be getting another start, with Hentges struggling.

The highest chance of precipitation is 15% at Midway during game time. Am I missing something? Looks fine unless that is way off.

The "rain men" out in force early!

Sox day games haven't been the best this season so if it gets rained out and we can face Cleveland with a healthy lineup in September that'd be greaaaaat.

I'm torn...I like the idea of Lynn vs A Bullpen game for Cleveland....Not crazy about the idea of Lynn going on short rest...I think I'll take the rainout

No Lynn on short rest, save the pen, save the guys with nagging injuries, end the bad luck in Cleveland. Rainout it is.

Terrific.  Glad we worked that out.  Head to the airport and get ready for the Tiggers,

Yep you are missing something. We aren't playing the Padres at Wrigley.

Um, ok
