  1. Didnt want Sam to use it.
  2. Yup. That one he hit last night was hit pretty well but most of the time the seem like broken bat loopers. I do wonder if some of his balls that he hits hard that are caught would fall if he were shorter.
  3. He hits the ball so hard to his pull side. There's been a number of balls this year that look like easy hits off the bat that just hang up there for the RF to catch. XBA of .490 on that one.
  4. Itll be a soft liner to short
  5. Randy Savage has found his stroke again.
  6. Just needs to make the routine catches and occassionally make a difficult one.
  7. The Cubs infield is the only reason they are in this game.
  8. It may have. I didnt watch the full video.
  9. Passan put out a video of Ted Williams talking about hitting and part of it was that pulling the ball in the air is the hardest thing to do. Joey Votto talked about it too. Very interesting listen.
  10. Finally a laser from him.
  11. If there's one thing this series has shown, is that outside of PCA and Seyia, there isnt much to worry about in this lineup. They really lack power.
  12. He's throwing whatever he wants where he wants.
  13. I would hate the auto ball strike system. I hate balls that barely nick the zone that are called strikes. If 99% of the ball is out of the zone and its called a strike, I just wonder how accurate the system is.
  14. I mean it does matter. Pitchers will pitch guys differently between one out and two outs with a guy on third. Besides, picking on the top run scoring team in the AL for offense is a choice.
  15. I love the challenge system as it is.
  16. Most of the opportunities seem to be coming with 2 outs.
  17. Nothing he is throwing is intimidating at all. He has no out pitch right now and he's missing a lot. They'll get to him if they are patient.
  18. I think he gets one today.
  19. Watching that guy pitch was a treat. Sucked he did it to the Sox. When him and Lariano were healthy it was scary.
  20. Bregman is basically a slap hitter now huh?
  21. And the sinkers he threw to Vargas that were in the zone were up.
  22. Holmes stuff looked like garbage in that inning.
  23. I think there were a few challenges against him in his last start. I know one was a low and in change to a lefty that landed perfectly that was upheld.
  24. One thing I love about him is he’s always around the plate. Not a lot of wasted pitches.
  25. People forget how highly thought of Thorpe was. He had good results for a rookie before getting hurt. He was the double A pitcher of the year. He can pitch. He’s efficient too. He made the jump straight from double A and looked like he had real upside.
