Mune has dodged criticism here because of Colson. He has not been very good lately.

It was the right time to push the envelope. Especially with this strike zone again today.

He was like "WTF was that?" on the 3-0 pitch. He just laughed at it.

I dont remember who said it or where, but it was the perfect description of him. He treats everyone watching the game like they are tourist tuning in for the first time. So its all platitudes and story lines from months ago that he repeats.

He had three in one inning in his first appearence. So only 3 in the other 6 innings.

What was the wake up call?

The infield will be a combo of Colson, Roch, Meidroth, and Vargas. Mune will DH and theyll rotate alot of the guys through that spot to get them days in the field off.

Earliest you prob see him is around the 4th of July and thats if everything goes well.

To be fair to a lot of these guys, this is the first time they are seeing most everyone in the league. I know they have trajekt but it still cant be the same.

Shane has not been very good. He hasn't really shown anything to make him a viable option right now.

Seems like the team had a talking to about challenges a couple games ago. They have been far more hesitant to use them as a team.

This will be a frustrating loss just because of all the men left on. One big hit with the bases loaded would’ve probably changed the outcome of the game.

This team is about to see a fork ball. They hate splitters. Nope.

He’s been fantastic as a rubber arm who tends to be pretty damn good. The rule I have with him is if he goes 2 I expect him to give up 1. Anything else is gravy.

It takes guys time to adjust to new places. The trade deadline is a huge gamble anyways. You just hope your bet hits.

Never said they were vastly improved by any stretch. The original comment was they are a worse team because of the trades. They aren’t.

Castillo also gave them 7 innings. When was the last starter to do that. You’re arguing about the 2nd to last guy in the bullpen and a 4th outfielder. This team is in no different shape than they were before the trade deadline. To say they are worse is just dumb. Sorry.

Castillo has been worse than what Martin has offered lately? Brozoban is worse than any of the other guys that have shuffled through that spot? Doyle is worse than the 5 4th outfielders they’ve had that couldn’t stay healthy, play center, or hit? This team is basically exactly who they were before the deadline, shuffling of chairs on the deck.
