Sometimes you wonder why Richards is on the team, then you realize he’s the only pitcher in this series that realizes the Indians have a crap offense and just attacks the zone. Funny how that works.

What has happened this weekend has been uncharacteristic of them throughout the season though as well. They haven’t played this sloppy of baseball since before the break last year.

Edgar was starting to hit the ball hard the last couple weeks before Teel came back. That’s why it’s so confusing he was the one to go down. Romo can’t hit and he can’t catch. I’m not sure what the thought process is there. Also, if people haven’t figured out that Lee will not be catching for this team at the Major League level again, I’m not sure what else they need to do to show you that’s not happening. Quero is 23. He’s like the 3rd youngest catcher in baseball. They don’t have to “salvage” him. Catchers have weird development paths.

That ball was also crushed at 105 and that was a great throw. I’m not saying he’s isn’t on the slower side but that was a nice defensive play too.

Surprised that Tony was able to hit 100mph there. Didn't realize he had it in him.

Still interesting to me they chose to send Edgar down instead of him. Edgar at least seemed to be showing signs of life at the plate over the last two weeks or so.
