9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown
He then went on to say after that he couldn't miss barrels. But ya they aren't removing him unless Getz makes that decision.

Colson has been good the last week. He has come out of his slump.

Another extra base hit for the Astros with an XBA of .070. Both the home run and double had XBA of 0.70. Pop ups most places.

Ya especially the ones at the top of the zone.

He's talked about his approach at the plate pretty openly the last month or so. Im not saying its right or wrong, but it is a good insight into his process.

The one to Colson I can excuse. Im sure he thought he was going slider in on his back foot because thats where everyone has gotten him out until the last week or so.

Tough but at least brown is at 70 pitches through 3. Continue to make him work and get to the pen early.

Ya. The biggest issue seems to be him pulling off of every pitch right now. The best looking swing he's had lately was the rope double he hit to the LF corner in Minny.

I do wonder how much they try to tinker with him. I wonder if they see him as a guy that they let him find his own way or if they are trying to tinker.

Brown with almost 50 pitches in two innings. Make him work.

9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown
Thought for sure he'd still get thrown out because this team doesn't have a lot of infield singles in them.

Ya I mean he has to look for something up if hes going to swing 3-0. Anything else he has to let go.

He just needs to walk Alvarez at every opportunity. Guy has a career 1.700 OPS against him in 21 ABS.

9/2 Games
He was extremely efficient tonight. The home run wasn’t crushed. And the run he gave up in the 4th was a bit of an odd inning. Still did all in 65 pitches.

9/2 GT, Sox vs. Astros, 7:10. Keep 'em Separated
The cubs arguably have the best offense in baseball. Those guys weren’t traded for. And for as bad as you think the Sox starting pitch situation was at the deadline, there’s was much worse. Also the cubs have played quite poorly here lately. They’ve actually lost ground to both the Brewers and Phillies.

Ya Castillo has not been good but complaining about not upgrading the 4th outfielder or last guy in the pen is not who’s going to determine the fate of this team. Your finish on the horses you rode in on.

9/2 GT, Sox vs. Astros, 7:10. Keep 'em Separated
The guys from the deadline aren’t playing much nor should they be. This team didn’t need position player upgrades for the starters who are now playing a majority of the games. You’re complaining about players 26,27,28 on the roster. The ones who will decide the division will be the same guys that have been here all year. ant, peters, Montgomery boys, Mune, Chase, Vargas, and soon Teel. Not whether Brenton Doyle gets 8abs in a week or not.

Not the point in the post. He should’ve been running there.

9/2 GT, Sox vs. Astros, 7:10. Keep 'em Separated
The regular lineup has been playing a majority of the games here the last few weeks. How much run has Acuna had? Basically non existent. They had 6 baserunners tonight. It was amplified by two poor decisions.

9/2 GT, Sox vs. Astros, 7:10. Keep 'em Separated
Or in reality the players who play will decide if they make the playoffs or not.

The won a game yesterday and are 4-3 on the road trip. Now will be 4-4 and with a win tomorrow will have a winning road trip like the previous one before it.

Why? Their lead is the same as it was when they went to bed last night
