5/20 Sox @ Mariners - 3:10PM
Brash is filthy. This is going to be quick.

5/20 Sox @ Mariners - 3:10PM
They've had 10 men on base through 6. Its been poor execution more then anything.

It'd be nice if Mune or Colson could just dong one.

Ya I thought it was a squeeze but it didnt look like Meidroth had really moved at all. Either way you cant get picked off.

5/19 Sox @ Seamen 8:40PM
Somehow Kay is going to make it at least until the 5th inning after being at like 55 pitches through 2 innings. If nothing else, he'll take you on a ride.

You mean short I think.

5/19 Sox @ Seamen 8:40PM
This is the first time I can recall the lineup just looking overmatched since maybe the Brewers.

I'm starting to get over the Kay experiment. Has no real out pitch even though he hits 97-98 as a lefty and can not get out righties.

5/18 White Sox @ Seattle 8:40pm CDT: Schultz vs Woo
This is going to be one of those games you just have to flush.

Feel bad for Noah tonight. His teammates have done him no favors. Acuna provides no value right now and Romo is an adventure behind the plate right now.

Romo has been brutal behind the plate lately.

I agree. He’s an aggressive player. He takes a lot of risks but there’s thought behind them whether they work out or not.

I stand corrected. What an idiotic rule.

It’s a dead ball while the baserunner is off the bag with no thought of returning to the bag, so he’s rewarded by allowing to return to the base he never returned to?

Gordon is correct about the catch. The base runner never returned to the bag.

I have never seen umpires blow two calls this obvious in a row maybe ever.

Also, I believe specifically with Noah it has been said that with him being so tall, his shorter extension helps him keep his mechanics more repeatable.

I can not stand the guy.

He missed two punch outs there.

I’m not saying I want to see it regularly but I like the aggressiveness.

I’m sure I’m in the minority I’m but I liked it. First inning, go for it.

Teel suffers LCL sprain (Pg. 5), out 3-6 weeks
It's sports. Guys get injured. Hamstrings are incredibly tricky as well. I once tore my hamstring off the bone and even though I told the trainer and a doctor something was seriously wrong, they told me it was just a pull. I had no bruising until almost 2 1/12 months later when they had me jog and I felt the slightest pinch, almost thought nothing of it. By that night, I couldn't sit down and when I woke up the next morning, I had a bruise that went from the middle of my butt to the middle of my calf. I wasn't cleared to run for another 3 months; and it took me almost a year until I felt normal running, even though I was cleared for 6 months. Everyone heals and feels differently. All they can do as trainers is make the best educated guess based on their evaluations and the feedback provided by the athlete. I also had never pulled a leg muscle before that and haven't since.

And that's a series taking White Sox winner!
I agree. Just seems like there’s a better foundation this time around to make this sustainable for more then a year or two like before.

I’m not saying this as if I know the answer definitively yet, but what if after all the crap that Chris Getz got, is it possible that he actually has this whole organization going in a good to great position moving forward? He seems to have found a type of player they want. They want guys who play hard every night and are just ball players. Whatever you say about their individual talent level, they all play hard no matter what. His talent acquisitions are starting to look better too. Mune obviously helps, but think about Vargas, Meidroth, Antonocci, Teel, B Montgomery, Vasil, Smith, Thorpe, Bonemer. Those are just the few guys who are good players. He’s had misses but every GM has. I’m not sure what I think of Veneble yet. It’s been hard to judge his on field decisions because of where the team was last year until now. He’s had tons of limitations with the roster until now and even some now. I find his interviews boring. However, people that know him rave about him and his knowledge of the game. Most importantly is that he seems to have completely changed and set a culture. Massive win there. This was a Chris Getz decision and so far he seems to have gotten it correct. Development at all levels looks better. They seem to be drafting better and higher draft picks seem to be developing properly. Also, guys at the major league level look like they are improving as well. This is due to the people he hired. The number one draft pick is also about to be joining the organization. It could all fall apart by July, but as of now Getz seems like he may be ok at this.
