The whole game of baseball is basically luck.

Burke talked about how he hoped on a face time with him and Vargas before they came to town.

Gave up a run in the first on a leadoff bunt single to third, stolen base without a throw, then a 77 mph soft looping ball over the 2nd baseman’s head. In the 5th he gave up a hard single with one out, stolen base, grazed hit batter, soft single to left. He was pulled after that but it was for pitch count. He was at 90. Gave up a lead off double that he pitched around. Other than that not many hard hit balls. He just wasn’t as efficient tonight.

McDougal was good until he got hurt and the move to the bullpen has not been good.

Its fine if they shove him in the pen and use him in games like last night.

Wonder if its Brozoban after his weird mound moment last night. If its for injury related moves, then ok. Shove him in the pen as an extra arm. Thats fine.

Most of them got hurt. Not a lot of depth at the upper levels either.

He has almost a 6.00 ERA in August.

Not the innings he's going to give them. Itll be no better then what you saw last night.

I dont understand this. He has not been good in AAA this year.

Haven’t had many bad losses this season. This will definitely be one of them though.

And there real questions about Bonemers ability to stay at short. It’s why some lists don’t have him as high as he is in a couple places.

Career whip in the minors is 0.95. In the marjors he was 1.25 including the last two starts when he was hurt and only went a combined 5 2/3 giving up 13 hits and 4 BBs. He doesn’t give up hits.

You realize pitching isn’t always about velocity? The guy has been good pretty much his entire pro career with that same fastball he has now.
