Never said they were vastly improved by any stretch. The original comment was they are a worse team because of the trades. They aren’t.

Castillo also gave them 7 innings. When was the last starter to do that. You’re arguing about the 2nd to last guy in the bullpen and a 4th outfielder. This team is in no different shape than they were before the trade deadline. To say they are worse is just dumb. Sorry.

Doyle is worse than the 5 4th outfielders they’ve had that couldn’t stay healthy, play center, or hit? Even if they failed to make the postseason, this season has been a huge success. The organization is no longer a laughing stock and may be able to actually be seen as a place guys want to play for now.

Ole Rubber Arm has actually been pretty awesome for what they ask him to do.

This team has shown all year they aren’t out of a game because of their offense. Sometimes you just get beat.

They smoked the ball of Holmes just at guys. They were fine at the plate today. It’s been a game of slim margins. Just hasn’t gone their way.

They’ve been shut out 8 this year. Middle of the pack. They are also playing a team that is 20 something games over .500. The over reactions are incredible.

The over reactions in here are wild. Holmes had 9 hard hit balls and gave up 1 hit. Kay had 6 and gave up two runs. Sometimes baseball just happens. There isn’t much to take from the game other than Kay looked good and baseball happened.
