  1. It’s why the games like these are aggravating. They’ve beat themselves defensively. And offensively they are doing what they are supposed to and take walks but the big hit eludes them.
  2. It’s been like that the last week and a half. All rallies seem to start with 2 outs and end quickly after that.
  3. He’s been good lately too. Always wonder what guys think of batters eyes.
  4. What? They’ve taken series from the cubs, dodgers, braves, padres, rays, and i think the Yankees.
  5. One of the best records in the AL since June.
  6. Its way more then that. Most of the regulars are playing in their first or 2nd season in the majors. And all of them are playing in meaningful games for the first time. I’m sure they’re all a bit gassed. This team is nothing in not mostly consistent though. Never more than 5 or 4 either way.
  7. Then you haven’t watched this team all year. Also there’s maybe one guy left from that entire team still here. Nothing about them are comparable
  8. I don’t mind Richards but why in this situation? Bases loaded leverage isn’t great for him.
  9. No one seems to have played any ball well. Sam, Vargas, Braden, Mune whiffed one it looked like, slow turns as well.
  10. Didn’t say he didn’t. Still isn’t an easy catch when you’re trying to navigate the wall. Especially if you’ve never played out there. Definitely had the opportunity to catch it and didn’t.
  11. Still a tough catch regardless who’s out there. Especially if you’ve never played there.
  12. It hit the knob then drilled him in the chest and deflected.
  13. That was a filthy pitch to Varsho.
  14. Colson has had much better at bats the last 4-5 games. Seems like he’s starting to see the ball better. Hopefully the power is close behind.
  15. Said the same thing in the thread I started with this news. I guess they are content letting Thorpe stay at AAA all year. I'm a huge McDougal fan but the move to the bullpen has not been kind to him. So now they have to DFA someone for Pham. They also have to find room on the 26 man for Martin and I would guess Teel. Pham is your one position player activation and McDougal must be the pitcher activated. Doesn't make a ton of sense when they need long arms.
  16. James is reporting McDougal is with the team in Houston. It looks like they are content with letting Thorpe stay in AAA all year. This is quite a confusing day. Especially since the move to the pen for McDougal has not been good.
  17. He's joining them in Houston Tuesday when rosters expand so no. Must mean one of the catchers is being sent packing here because you can only add one position player and one pitcher. Unless they dont play on bringing Teel back up this season?
  18. Robert wouldnt mess up any chemistry. He'd be in the same role as Doyle. Also, I'm not advoacting for it.
  19. They already have won the most games of any team following a 100 loss season in baseball history.
  20. It will be someone on the 40 man. Doubt they have anyone they want to DFA right now.
  21. He hasnt been doing that here down the stretch. He said most of the main guys would be playing here the last 6 weeks.
