  1. The over reactions in here are wild. Holmes had 9 hard hit balls and gave up 1 hit. Kay had 6 and gave up two runs. Sometimes baseball just happens. There isn’t much to take from the game other than Kay looked good and baseball happened.
  2. Hasn’t Mune really struggled during day games?
  3. 8 hard hit balls and nothing to show for it. Baseball is dumb.
  4. Sox have an xba of .354 and no hits.
  5. Rockets right at guys left and right.
  6. 4 of the last 5 balls in play have been over 98 mph with zero hits. Babip not on their side right now.

He looked good again tonight. He induces such weak contact. Even in the inning he gave up 2 runs, one ball was hit hard. Perez probably should’ve made a play he didn’t. He only gave up four hard hit balls in five innings. He does a nice job of keeping guys off pace and moving the ball around the zone. He had 15 swings on his change up and had 11 whiffs. 73%

They still need innings. Everyone is at or near career highs in innings. They’ll prob move guys around quite a bit here.
  9. I don’t like John. I think he’s really bad. He still can’t do a basic thing like read a ball off the bat or judge the sound of a barrel. I do find him funny in the sense that I often laugh out loud with how cringy he can be. There’s plenty more I could pick on, but with all that being said, constantly trashing him is pointless. He’s calling the games, it’s already baked into the cake when you turn the game on. You can always watch it on mute. You can listen to Len and DJ. You can buy products to sync your radio to your tv. If you listen, it’s your choice.

Almost every hit he gave up was soft contact. Once again through 5 on like 80 pitches.
  11. Didnt want Sam to use it.
  12. Yup. That one he hit last night was hit pretty well but most of the time the seem like broken bat loopers. I do wonder if some of his balls that he hits hard that are caught would fall if he were shorter.
  13. He hits the ball so hard to his pull side. There's been a number of balls this year that look like easy hits off the bat that just hang up there for the RF to catch. XBA of .490 on that one.
  14. Itll be a soft liner to short
  15. Randy Savage has found his stroke again.
  16. Just needs to make the routine catches and occassionally make a difficult one.
  17. The Cubs infield is the only reason they are in this game.
  18. It may have. I didnt watch the full video.
  19. Passan put out a video of Ted Williams talking about hitting and part of it was that pulling the ball in the air is the hardest thing to do. Joey Votto talked about it too. Very interesting listen.
  20. Finally a laser from him.
  21. If there's one thing this series has shown, is that outside of PCA and Seyia, there isnt much to worry about in this lineup. They really lack power.
  22. He's throwing whatever he wants where he wants.
  23. I would hate the auto ball strike system. I hate balls that barely nick the zone that are called strikes. If 99% of the ball is out of the zone and its called a strike, I just wonder how accurate the system is.
  24. I mean it does matter. Pitchers will pitch guys differently between one out and two outs with a guy on third. Besides, picking on the top run scoring team in the AL for offense is a choice.
  25. I love the challenge system as it is.
