That ball was also crushed at 105 and that was a great throw. I’m not saying he’s isn’t on the slower side but that was a nice defensive play too.

Still interesting to me they chose to send Edgar down instead of him. Edgar at least seemed to be showing signs of life at the plate over the last two weeks or so.

Also, this is the first stretch of bad baseball since they were 6-13. They were due for a down stretch.

Not absolving the offense lately, but this pitching staff was built to lose 90+ games again. Its hard to remember that with the start they have had. Also, all the guys you thought would be here by now are hurt. Just have to outslug teams at home. He walks a ton of guys.

He's also still dealing with a rebuilding roster with massive holes in the bullpen. It is what it is. Most people thought this team would lose 90+ games again.He's also thought of highly at 3rd by the metrics. He's like top 5 in runs saved there despite the number of games played there.Against lefty starters.....
