QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 05:39 PM) So as i'm sure no one is surprised but there will be a Moolah & Mae Young appearance on the "RAW Family Reunion" Special...and Kane was slated to lose the "Loser Leaves RAW" Match...but it's been going back and forth all week and supposedly it's not clear if the loser will go to Smackdown or ECWWE My guess is if Kane loses, he goes to WWECW to be another SPOOOOOKY MONSTER for SciFi, and if OooooooooooooooooooMaaaaaaahGahhhhhhhhhh loses he goes to Friday nights. When the hell are they going to give Estrada more guys, so we can have more AAE on Raw??? And after only seeing him once, I say the new SmackDown! "superstar" Must Vanish Permanently.

You mean 14 roster moves is more than "tweaking"????

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 04:31 PM) For 1.65 BILLION dollars... Cha... ching. If that YouTube guy likes sports, we have another Mark Cuban on our hands! Now Google will screw up YouTube to the point where no one will visit the site anymore. They'll erase everything that people like about it. I can see it now - "partnering" with advertisers, popups all over the site, deleting "non-sponsored" clips.....book it.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 8, 2006 -> 02:03 PM) I'd never really noticed how much Kenny Rogers of the Tigers looks like Scott Lucas of Local H. Can someone do one of those split screen, two photo deals? You'd have to find a recent picture of Scott, with the short, greying hair. I've always seen more Henry Rollins in Rogers, and more Neal Cotts in Lucas.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 8, 2006 -> 11:45 AM) You sure it isn't the other way around? Semantics, my friend, it's all semantics.....

Go Frank's Team. That is all.

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2006 -> 11:22 AM) go asap, bc when word gets out, im pretty sure you'll hear about things you dont want to hear... (spoilers!) Well, work/family circumstances probably won't let me see it before Halloween weekend, but I'm real good at ignoring people, so I think I'll be okay....

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2006 -> 10:12 AM) absolutely terrific film, one of Scorcese's best... cast is perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing this film soon.

The main thing I worry about is how he'd react when (not IF) jackasses like Hysteriotti start up on him. Guys like him love to grab hold of a guy and try to destroy him, and I wonder if Alex would think "oh no, here we go again" once Jaybird hung some nickname on him (Pay-Rod, perhaps?) and microcriticized every at-bat or error. There's no way of knowing how damaged Alex is from his YankMe experience. I'll definitely take his talent on the Sox, unless George wants to rape the Sox of too many quality guys.

Hmmm, kind of early for the "Leyland Lift", I think. I mean, enjoy it and all, but you have 8 games left to win.
-
Not gonna happen. ....did I mention ?
-
Nahhh, any taunting is OK at the expense of the YankMe's. I'm loving this game. Screw New York.

Sox "Tired" excused from last yr's postseason
The Critic replied to Allsox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Oct 5, 2006 -> 01:35 PM) I think our team would be mighty dangerous in the playoffs. You know damn right that the Yankees wanted us NOT to make it. The Twins and Tigers are demonstrating they really shouldn't be there. Can you guys believe that there are 5 out of 8 different teams in the post season this year. The Tigers, Twins and A's replace the White Sox, Angels and Red Sox. The Dodgers and Mets replace the Astros and Braves. I agree with half of this statement. -
Never saw this before, and I thought it was pretty clever. http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1712031/context/tag:metal

QUOTE(greg775 @ Oct 6, 2006 -> 08:02 PM) Good stuff, The Critic. I agree 100 percent. Everything else is fine. You hit the nail right on the head (my cliche of the day). You should retire that one, Greg....

Well, they say that scaring someone is a way to cure hiccups, and a Rectal Invasion would certainly firghten me!

QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Oct 6, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) Nothing's wrong with "Put it on the board...." that is CLASSIC. Regarding the "He gone" thing--that's exactly the point: he says "He gone!", the shirts say "He gone!" but on the PA it's "He's gone!" Why not just UPDATE the damn thing. BTW and me being an idiot for not knowing "crooked number"? My baseball expert co-worker thought it meant something entirely different, so I don't feel so bad. BTW the one I think we can ALL agree on is "Duck snort." Stooopid. The only things Hawk should retire are "duck snort", "heinie bird" and ANY mention at all of Jay Mariotti.

QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 6, 2006 -> 12:31 AM) Bears=Super Bowl Blackhawks=Stanley Cup Good thing you're not getting ahead of yourself there.....
-
Hey, all they have to do is hold the other team under 7 per game.... ...and Olczyk just said Nicky Kuhbibbullin was "superb".
-
"Duhhhhrrrrr, on TV Hawk says HE Gone, but at duh ballpark it says HE'S Gone, duhhhhhrrrrrr...." This long-time Sox fan must have just FORGOTTEN that Hawk used to say "He's Gone" then it morphed into He Gone. I know that Roeper's a Sox fan, but he sounds like a Johnny-come-lately when he complains about stuff that he should know if he was paying attention.

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Sep 25, 2006 -> 12:41 PM) I hate the phrase "(Insert any word here) much?" When and where the hell did that start?? Wonder about that much?

Sox "Tired" excused from last yr's postseason
The Critic replied to Allsox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE(greg775 @ Oct 4, 2006 -> 08:24 PM) The Twins looked tired the last two days. Pathetic effort. If they were gonna play like that, why'd they even make the fricking playoffs? We coulda done better. Hey, man, it takes a special breed of ballclub to go 11-1 through the playoffs. Can't fault those little piranha-shaped snack cakes for not being good enough to do that. -
GET THIS DAMN CAR BACK ON THE ROAD!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanywho................. I like Frank. Frank was great with the Sox. Frank is great with the A's. Frank is going to help send the Twinkies home for the winter. For this, I am grateful to Frank.

Minnesota Twins Post Mortem Playoff Thread
The Critic replied to hammerhead johnson's topic in The Diamond Club
The best part about these first two games is Minnesota's complete failure at fundamentals and clutch hitting. I just hope Oakland doesn't gag this series away, because that's the kind of thing that could get Minny rolling like Boston rolled in 2004 after the YankMe's choked.
