QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 01:44 AM) In fact since classes haven't started yet I thought about how the whole thing can play out... Orton wins Rumble, we find out Steph was in on the entire thing. Vince comes back next night on Raw to fire Orton. Orton reminds him that since he won the Rumble he has to get his shot before that can happen. So Vince starts to back Cena. We get a good couple of months of Cena/Orton build up with the McMahons in each corner. WM25 rolls around, Vince pulls the swerve. Orton wins the strap, SuperCena's pissed. It can then potentially setup a Cena/Vince feud if need be. The Mr. McMahon character CAN'T be a face, just can't happen. I can live with this scenario. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 08:48 AM) That's a great idea... What was Brooks answer? "Buy two 27-game packages and give 10 games away".

Happy f***ing birthday, Ozzie, ya f***ing f***!

I'd be very surprised if the final promo schedule looked anything like this. Almost all there is is fireworks nights and kids days. I'd bet there are a lot more promo dates added.

I haven't found a single friend from high school on Facebook. They all must be too old.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 11:39 AM) from a few things I have read, Manu is walking on very thin ice. His exile from the legacy faction wasnt as much storyline as it was Ortons true feelings. Well, then, out with Manu and in with Jake The Snake's daughter. DONE AND DONE! -

Orton is much more interesting on the mic lately, I have to admit, although I'm not too keen on him leading the Legacy faction. It doesn't help him and it doesn't elevate DiBiase or Rhodes. It could (and still can) be a much more effective vehicle for a batch of midcarders to get over. Manu, Snuka, Natalya Neidhart, DH Smith, Mike Rotundo's kid (can't remember his name, he's down in Florida right now) - they could all be helped by the rub a heel stable could provide. DiBiase seemed like he was capable of handling the mouthpiece role. Orton doesn't need them, and they really don't need him either. He could continue using them for numbers or sneak attacks, but not as underlings (which they look like right now). -

Some lucky f***er walked out of the UC a millionaire last night. The Illinois State Lottery has this promotion with the Hawks - if a Hawk scores at 10:00 exactly of the 2nd period, they pick a random fan to win a million. Havlat's goal came at 10:00 exactly of the second period. I think they said the fan was in section 326, but I could be wrong about that. They said the fan will be announced before Wednesday's game (whoever it is was notified last night at the game, though). Not a bad deal at all, huh....see a Hawk game, grab a million bucks.... -
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 11:26 AM) Unless you have already have connections with drug dealers, I'm guessing that getting rid of 30 lbs. of weed quickly is a going to be easier said than done. And why do you assume nobody would be looking for it? Cuz they dropped it off, duh. They must not have wanted it...

QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 10:12 AM) Do your kids paint your minivan windows, "WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE JONAS BROTHERS TONIGHT!!!!WOOOOOOO!!!!!OMG"! ? There was so much of that s*** going on when they were in town.lol Luckily I'm not at that point just yet. The only concerts she's ever seen were the Wiggles when she was like 4 or 5 years old, and Corbin Bleu at a fair in Wisconsin last summer. I know it's coming, though - she has asked to see the "JoBros" when they come back to Chicago. We don't have a minivan, but our cars have windows so those windows may get painted.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 07:20 AM) my eight year old is going all Jonas Brothers on me. i think it could be worse, but i dont know how Oh, I get Jonas Brothers damage, too, along with Miley Cyrus and all the other Disneyites. I keep telling myself "well, she's into music, maybe the music will get better". I know it won't, though....

QUOTE (3E8 @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 09:28 PM) I've listened to Love Song by Taylor Swift over 10 times today Is that wrong Unless it's audio shrapnel from your 9-year-old playing it over and over and over and over (not that I'd know anything about THAT), then yes, it's very, very wrong.

Well, that was stupid, but it was also futile and pointless. Congrats Arizona Cardinals, NFC Champions. -

Cardinals clear their throats a little, but they still have to stop the Eagles. -
Pie is a classic case of a guy playing away all of his trade value. That guy was considered one of the premier prospects in baseball until he faced decent pitching.
