Adam Frazier to Padres
People laughed at it because no one would touch Hosmer's atrocious contract. Intangibles that make the 3rd worst player in baseball since 2019 magically good. This thread is amazing. Hosmer has been moved to a bench role and for some reason that makes Caufield upset because he has a Hosmer poster hanging on his ceiling that he looks at every night before bed.

Said it in May, but guy is gonna have a huge half and easily win the ROY.

ELOY back Monday against KC
And there's reason to believe he will only get better, given his infancy at the position.

Who would you dream of the White Sox adding in trade this week, and what would you be willing to give up in exchange?
as crazy as this is, he's really just not enough of an upgrade over their #3/#4 in the playoffs who you would be bumping. You can roll with 3 starters for a lot of the playoffs and he would cost more than his improvement would be over those guys.

Adam Frazier to Padres
LOL Keuchel is nothing like Hosmer. What career norm, guy? Hosmer has been worth .1 fWAR over his last 291 games. Only Miguel Cabrera has been worth less than Hosmer since 2019 (with over 200 games played). He is awful and has been awful. He's not "rebounding" to anything. Gallo and Pham are nothing like Hosmer. Keuchel is near a league average player pace. Your comparisons are complete nonsense.

Adam Frazier to Padres
The ONLY reason they wouldn't trade Hosmer is because absolutely no one wants to take him and his awful contract.
-
Adam Frazier to Padres
Of qualified players, Hosmer is the 3rd worst player in baseball and you're on here continually arguing that he won't be replaced lol.

Adam Frazier to Padres
Wow, MLBtraderumors reading Soxtalk and stealing my thoughts: Frazier is a left-handed hitter, and while the Padres generally lean more to the right side of the plate, Frazier might supplant another left-handed hitting regular in Eric Hosmer.

What the Brewers Series is Telling Us
I think it's more Jack's insistence that he's being a realist and outright denial of his over the top irrational negativity that rubs people wrong sometimes. You want to be a negative Nancy and say things like this team isn't even a playoff caliber team, whatever. To try and tell everyone that it is some data driven reality is where it becomes laughable and over the top.

Pal, you made some comment about Frazier-croenworth not playing because they can't hit 25-35 homers and hit like utility men. I merely pointed out that both are better hitters than trash Hosmer who hits much more like a utility man than either of them.

Adam Frazier to Padres
This is one of the most insane posts you've ever made. Eric Hosmer has been worth -.4 WAR and is one of the worst players in baseball. Moncada has been one of the 25 best. Hes going to be benched for many games going forward because he's awful. My lord. And no it would not be nice if the sox gave a guy 120 million and he was one of the worst players in baseball.

Adam Frazier to Padres
How is Frazier a utility hitter and Hosmer good? Lol Hosmer has 8 home runs. He's not capable of hitting 25-35 homers. He's complete trash.
-
Adam Frazier to Padres
Frazier is playing everyday and croenworth is moving to 1st base. They didn't trade for Frazier for him to be a utility man.
-
Adam Frazier to Padres
People patting preller on the back for having to trade for Frazier to get his mega signing Hosmer out of the lineup lol

Someone saw a Sox scout at Mariners game thread
There is a big league scout at a big league game!! So telling!

Someone saw a Sox scout at Mariners game thread
This makes zero sense.

What the Brewers Series is Telling Us
Imagine the mental hoops one has to jump through to call the Yankees contenders while saying the white sox are not all thread.

What the Brewers Series is Telling Us
What is your ratio of panic posts after series losses versus positive posts after series wins?

What the Brewers Series is Telling Us
Jack i could not care less what your thoughts are on the quality of the team. Its entirely irrelevant because your entire life is consumed by negativity. The White Sox have the 2nd best run differential in the AL despite missing possibly 12 fWAR.

What the Brewers Series is Telling Us
This is so fucking comical. Every single time the White Sox lose a series this absurdly terrible hot takes come out on this forum. Yes the team with a 113 run differential despite missing 1/2 their starting position players for much of the year isn't actually good. Jack, you should consider watching another sport. For the 1000th time, a series in baseball tells us nothing. The sox just beat the astros, what did that series tell you jack? Get a fffing grip and learn how to enjoy a season without having absurd hot takes everytime they lose a series.

Yermin retiring? Nope. Wait, maybe yes? Wait, he's active in Charlotte again.

People that use the term woke and talk about cancel culture are undoubtedly the biggest cry babies of them all. Archaic thinkers fearful of change and accountability. I'm heading out on vacation but I will miss my favorite sox talk historians who fight tooth and nail to maintain the status quo to preserve their way of life.

It's very very difficult to be and old white man in America. Please show some respect, and tender love and care for those suffering from such a shortcoming.
