  1. LOL Cesar Hernandez has 15.3 fWAR in 4000 career PA's. Leury Has 2.4 fWAR in 2000 career PA's. One of those is pathetic and it ain't Cesar.
  2. he has a 2.4 fWAR in 581 career games and 2000 AB's. He's not "such an asset" and he's not solid. His career wRC+ is 78. He's made a couple nice plays at SS, congrats.
  3. This team didn't need power, it needed people to get on base. They hit a ton of home runs but they stopped working counts. Sheets being sent down was the right move and he's come back refreshed and out of his funk.
  4. Tim catches that and tags out the runner. Unreal
  5. Offensively it's next to impossible he'll ever be as great as frank. Overall he's got a gamblers chance but it comes down to how long he can sustain his skills.
  6. Agree with 99% here but cease is not tall by any means for a pitcher
  7. Happy to hear you're willing to give the 15th ranked starter in baseball a shot in the postseason now.
  8. Oh no, now the sox can't use 7 era kimbrel in a close game!
  9. Oh my, more kimbrel apologists after he gives up more runs. Is it ever Craig's fault when he gets lit up?
  10. It didn't go over my head! Amazing what Yaz has done offensively this year given that he played most of the year on one leg
  11. Yaz a 145 wRC+. Second to robert on the team
  12. Imagine thinking grandal wasn't a huge loss
  13. Yaz comes back and the lineup finds its patience.
  14. Isn't Tatis an OF'er now? Should be asking this question about our RF'er.
  15. No catcher is an everyday player. Before this year started, no catcher played more games than Grandal between 2018-2020. So I guess no catcher is good or an everyday player. And no, I'm laughing at you comparing Grandal and Zavala at any level; using W/L record for an individual player in baseball is about as pointless as it gets. Grandal has been the toughest guy to replace on the roster. Anderson hasn't been hurt for an extended period of time, and outside of you making up a Moncada injury he also has not been hurt or out of the lineup for an extended period of time. Among Robert, Eloy and Madrigal, Grandal has been the hardest person for this team to replace and it has impacted them both defensively and offensively. Your obsession with trying to convince the world that Grandal is bad is odd, and even more odd given what we've had to watch at the position the last 6 weeks. Oh, and McCann is awful. He was benched in NY because he was poor defensively and offensively. You still stanning for him over Grandal is another joke.
  16. The White Sox were 4th in baseball in runs when Grandal went down. They're now 10th in runs in the past 30 days and you somehow cite that to glorify his absence. You can't make this shit up. Edit: Oh, and in the last thirty days they have gotten Eloy and Robert back; they were 4th in runs without those guys, because the lineup was patient (led by Yaz) and worked pitchers and counts.
  17. This post is amazing. There is literally not a single thing Seby Zavala does on a baseball field that is even 50% as good as Yasmani Grandal. Grandal has been by far the biggest loss the team has had this year. Replacing him has been a train wreck.
  18. Imagine watching what sox fans have watched the past 6 weeks and still batching about grandal. Truly amazing. And I'll take grandal over 70 games for the max next year.
