  1. This is such a terrible take but I can't say I'm surprised.
  2. Paul Goldschmidt had a 151 wRC+ at A+ at the same age Vaughn is playing in the big leagues. If you don't think Vaughn would have had a 150ish wRC+ at the same level last year after having around a 130 wRC+ after a long college season then we can agree to disagree. You said he wasn't as big of a prospect as Paul Goldschmidt. That was 100% incorrect. Vaughn has been a much bigger prospect every step of the way.
  3. Pre-everything. Pre-MLB career. Goldschmidt was never even a top 10 prospect in the Diamondbacks system. Vaughn is a much bigger hitting prospect than Paul Goldschmidt was, and he's had 108 at bats. Vaughn avg EV is in the 80+% percentile, Hard his % is in the 85+ percentile, and his max EV is in the 93 percentile. He needs to get the ball up a bit more and he'll be lights out.
  4. I value it and the internal evaluation of him much more than your opinion on his ability to hit right handed pitching because of 108 AB's as a 23 year old while learning a new position and not having played in live games above A-Ball. Vaughn xwOBA is above league average despite what your thoughts on him are.
  5. Andrew Vaughn was/is a much bigger prospect than Paul Goldschmidt ever was. It's really not even close.
  6. What does this mean? By all accounts he was crushing the ball last year in Schaumburg, and he had about a combined 130 wRC+ in his short minors season after the college seasons (whose stats are typically taken with a grain of salt due to the long season for a college kid).
  7. The Vaughn traders/haters are a weird breed to me. Kid is a rookie who hasn't had much professional experience and has been whacking the baseball. He needs to get the launch angle up a bit but he hits the ball hard as fuck all the time. He's also played a nice left field. You'd be an absolute fool, imo, to trade a bat of Vaughns caliber.
  8. I am convinced Ragah roots against the White Sox and enjoys when they lose. He is the only poster on here who legit takes joy in the Sox losing so he can claim he was "right" about something because apparently good teams never get swept or something.
  9. Why he continues to try and steal a 2nd inning from these guys I just do not know. It hasn't worked once this year it feels like, but Tony keeps on pushing.
  10. Huh. Vaughn was the only option there. Even benetti knew it before the inning. He had passed over Vaughn countless times in that spot this year. At least he finally learned his lesson. Wonder if we could have won a couple more games now if he went Vaughn over leury/Hamilton earlier
  11. Hunch lol? How was it even a tough decision
  12. They said it was the dimensions that pushed Adam over to LF.
  13. Pal, you managed to describe yourself on 1 sentence and for that I commend you. And Kenwo is a larussa stan and hates on players. I dont see many people here doing either of those things.
  14. Well good thing you're not in charge of decision making for the club.
  15. Answer the question! Lol So you got nothing, got it.
  16. Ok, so the sox aren't going to fail to win a series until Detroit then? Got it.
  17. Lol, makes a statement, gets called on it and then asks for odds.
  18. Yup, it's grandal fault Cease threw balls ????
  19. The Sox have the best pitching of every team you listed, this is complete nonsense. Many of you need to start watching other teams play baseball. It is too obvious most of you only watch the white sox.
  20. Dude, Sano is who he is. Theres nothing to figure out. He had a good game, that happens.
  21. Behind what, genius boy? Please present me all your facts that show us the sox are the 5th best team in the AL right now, clown show.
  22. Jajaja man, these threads are always such a dumpster fire of hot takes after losses.
