  1. Sounds to me like he's still hurt if he has to ditch switch hitting due to pain on some swings. SIgh.
  2. Huh? You need to save Billy Hamilton in case an infielder gets hurt? I don't track.
  3. Wait, Billy is available but was not playing CF with the big lead? Sheesh.
  4. Twins have given Sox fans so much PTSD they refuse to agree or accept that the Twins suck. They suck. The loud sound you hear when the Twins play isn't Nelson Cruz, it's the opposing teams hitters smashing Twins pitching. Benetti is a dope constantly saying he's worried about the twins. The twins suck.
  5. Twins were supposed to stop trying.
  6. lol wtf does this mean? They're 10 games under 500. If that isn't sucking, before the all-star break, what is?
  7. Goodwin is a subpar CF'er, Sheets is a 1st baseman playing right field and Vaughn has been surprisingly competent but he's slow AF and certainly not covering up anyone elses short comings.
  8. The run is on Sheets - which I'm not blaming him, he's not a natural RF'er, but the run is his fault - not LaRussa. The Outfield defense is an abortion.
  9. I would have bet my house that Cruz would light marshall up for something.
  10. Nothing like letting Giolito face the lefty and then bringing marshall in for Cruz lol. This is like a guaranteed 2 run homer. Let Marshall face the lefty if anything. JFC
  11. Sheets is playing deep to make going back on the ball easier, has a ball hit right at him and people celebrating his effort. SMH.
  12. It was a routine catch lol. He jumped over the ball.
  13. Starting major league outfielders actually matters. Who knew?
  14. Not saying I like Lucas but Marshall is blahhhh
  15. If the option is Marshall or Giolito, I'd go Giolito. Marshall is complete trash.
  16. said it on instagram live. edit: here's a tweet citing it too
  17. I'm gonna say it, Brian Goodwin has been nice but he isn't good enough to be slamming his bat on the ground like he should have mashed that ball or something.
  18. Eloy supposedly - according to him - starting rehab early next week.
  19. The difference between the best teams and the worst teams are minuscule amounts of talent. Over 162 that talent difference can mean 30 wins, but in one weekend it means nothing. These are all big leaguers. Hawk said a lot of dumb things in his life, but don't tell me who you're playing but when you play them is spot on. Rather play a good team who is struggling than a bad team who is hot.
  20. Mendick, Madrigal. The only difference is all the letters after M and the entire MLB ++ production thing!
  21. The league was throwing Vaughn first pitch down the dick over and over after seeing how he'd always take first pitch. He needed to adjust. Yaz has earned a lot of respect around the league so no one is going to lay one in their first pitch. Vaughn has now. He needs to get more aggressive early in the zone.
  22. Vaughn destroying the CaliSox small sample brigade in this game!
  23. No one loves a small sample more than my guy CaliSox! Well, maybe Cali and people who drug test for a living1
